cat +zetsubou sensei

Nope, it ain't my cat. It's the resident cat in hall 3c.
Uber cuteness. It's miu miu and it's male.
But i keep thinking its a she.
Was in my friend's room doing prof com project just now, and this cuteness came meowing its way into the room (door open of cos). Then i petted it and played with it.
Funny when it tried to use our slippers as scratch post.
I just went.."EH, baby, NONO..CANNOT!"
It seemed to understand and stopped and looked at you with its clear green eyes.
Able to interpret the message through the tonality, i guess.
But i keep thinking its a she.

and we were laughing our asses off...speaking crazily...
i realised the cat had oredi dozed off really soundly...
Amazed that it has such high tolerance for sound.
Definitely not a light sleeper.
Feline really don't smell as bad as dogs.
I wanted to touch its soft pink paws that were upturned,
but I was scared that I will disturb it from its sleep
and kenna scratched... SO I Resisted!
Not like Abiru san who has accumulated injuries becos of her
animal tail fetish from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei!
LAUGHS!
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (Goodbye, Teacher Despair) is so amazingly brilliant and funny.
DARK Parody of reality but it contains superb brillance and humour.
Highly recommended.
It's running its second season right now.

Haruka, Kana, Chiaki (Left to Right)Minami-Ke is a new and nice comdey. Basically it revolves around the lives of 3 sisters by the surname of MINAMI. It's really hilarious and i love the drawings of the 3 characters especially Chiaki who happens to love carbonated milk and scores extremely well for her grades (the youngest but the rudest of them all).
Kana is the middle child, who looks like a girl, but behaves like a nut case, bad at cooking cos she often concoct weird recipes. She often misinterprets a boy's declaration of love to declaration of war with the "mis"guidance of Chiaki who probably reads too much in between the lines.
Haruka is the motherly and responsible eldest sister who is extremely good at cooking and volleyball. She tends to avoid or ignore embarrassing situations. There was this scene whereby the younger sisters saw a scene of a drama whereby the teacher kissed a student. The girls kept pestering Haruka "Why is the teacher kissing a student?" and Haruka was dumbfounded, perphaps too shy to even mention the word kiss in front of her younger sisters.
I love the way the characters are drawn and it is a easy to watch comedy that makes me want to watch even more episodes so I can laugh my way thru. It's nowhere as dramatic as Seto no Hanayome, but it just captures my attention with all the witty and subtle jokes. It's really cute, it's not stupid or retarded, it's just pleasantly amusing and funny. Watch it using youtube or crunchyroll! Dun u dare try to d/l via bittorent. See, I warned you.

As promised, here's Olivia's Winter Sleep (this song suits Nobu & Hachiko) and an MV specially made to remember the blossoming but unfortunate love between Hachiko and Nobu. In NANA, Hachiko is constantly plagued by love matters, her first boyfriend cheated on her and Hachiko caught them redhanded. Her second boyfriend, was a celebrity from Trapnest, Takumi. Initially everybody hated Takumi bcos he was known to be a womanizer and takes advantage of women's weaknesses. In fact, Nana blamed herself for introducing Takumi to Hachiko in the further episodes, her initial plan was to let Hachiko meet her idol, Takumi, after Nana and Ren got back together. But when Takumi started using Hachiko for his own pleasures and treated her hot and cold, Hachiko had already fallen in love with him (probably the reason why men use love to get sex, and women use sex to get love). It was really heartbreaking to see Hachiko trying to convince herself to love Takumi, even when she knew he wasn't a good guy.
Her third boyfriend, Nobu from Black Stones, was a guitarist who was Nana's comrade and they often hanged out together. Nobu loved her deeply and selflessly and she loved Nobu back alot, after realising Takumi wasn't the one whom she should love. By this time, everybody was really happy for Hachiko as we all thought she found true love. However, the happy times shared between them was shortlasting, when Hachiko realised she was pregnant and she didn't know who the father was. (that's why it's unsafe to condone pre-martial sex, hold onto ur virginities for God's sake) Things started to take a dramatic change after that, watch NANA to find out the ending for urself.
I feel a lot for the characters in NANA and somehow there were certain periods or characters whom I can relate to. I like the way the main characters analyse their own feelings and situations and the everso melodramtic progression of the plot. Gaining insight into the reflection of how people feel is liken to gaining trust from the other party, as they begin to show you their own weaknesses and problems. This is probably the reason why NANA is such a HUGE success. Think I should go and read the manga!!

HEY HEY~
It's been a long week, with all the hustling and shuffling of tutorials, lecture, projects, quizzes, assignments....but still i managed to squeeze in a bit of my time (3 hours) for NTU's visual art society's ANIMEWORKS. In short, there was free anime-screening in NTU on 14/3/07 at 7.30pm to 10pm. I pia-ed down after a long dinner with cordy and was waiting with such expectancy. They had some door gifts for us, candies and chocolates in nice wrapping and a short handbook of the animes that were gonna be screened and a thorough analysis of what makes you an OTAKU and the types of OTAKU that exists in this world. I must say the crowd was majority guys, but there were girls too. But that is not what i wanna discuss today...We watched 1 3D movie (very final fantasy style) and 2 short animes.
The first anime is "Today in class 5-2" or "kyo no go no ni". It is actually a series of short stories that revolves around Satou Ryouta in Class 5-2. All the stories have one theme in common. Perverse humor is the flavour of this anime in which Satou often find himself in awkward situations with the girls. It's so funny and triggers your mind to naughty ecchi scenes..and makes you explode with laughter... You should go download them if possible, via torrent or at http://www.anikei.com/.

The second anime is "Byousoku 5cm". The art is simple, serene and lovely. It really captivates your heart and moved me to tears.
The setting was probably in late 1980s, when the Internet and mobile phones weren't even available. Two high-school kids met in school, got to know each other better and fell in love with each other. But fate has its way of being cruel to this young couple. The girl had to transfer to another part of Japan which was really far away from Tokyo, and this crushed their dreams of graduating together and going into a new college together. They communicated by writing letters to each other and the boy would actually memorise all the contents of the letters. One day, the boy's family also decided to move to another part of Japan which made the distance between the lovers even further. Then the two lovers decided to meet at the girl's current hometown's train station. The heart-wrenching journey begins as the boy sets off to see the girl, only to be met by obstacles.
This anime has 3 parts, however, only the first part has been subbed. So i dunno the ending, but i was tearing under the cover of darkness, constantly dabbing tissue at my eyes, hoping my make up wldn't run. When the lights came on, I couldn't cry liberally, but I was so embarrassed to let other pple see my tears. My friend who went with me also teared. Maybe she felt the sadness and despair by the author more deeply, because she is currently in a long distance relationship that is plagued with problems that she has no control over.
Long distance relationships aren't easy to handle and can be very tricky if there's no trust and yet both parties dun wanna let go. Anyway, 5cm/s conveyed sadness, despair, loneliness so well that I was so caught up with it. Feeling sad for the boy when things didn't go well and feeling happy when he and the girl finally met. Welcome to the whirlwind of emotions. I guess it reflects reality and augmented sadness, despair and loneliness so beautifully that almost all the girls in there were moved. I dunno abt the guys lah. haha... i like touching animes, if you know more, pls tell me...

Jigoku Shoujo

Hello! Blogger's been giving me some problems. Published posts aren't showing up immediately after submission. So if u're reading this, this post is 2-3 days delayed loh! Hope they solve the problem soon, i'm too lazy to move to another new blog, even though i'm tempted to move to wordpress if this problem persists for too long.
As you all know, I'm somewhat an anime enthusiast, luckily not an otaku, cos i prefer watching animes than reading manga. Well, I stumbled upon a new current airing anime titled "Jigoku Shoujo Fukatomori" It practically means Hell Girl-2 Prisoners, which means it is the 2nd season of Jigoku Shoujo. To sum it all, Jigoku Shoujo is a collection of different stories as to why people look for hell girl to get their revenge.
(The art for the anime is somewhat vectored, kinda raw.)Enma Ai. The childlike protagonist who carries out the torture and vengeance of her client's antagonizer. She has a past, which I'm unsure of bcos I didn't watch Season 1 and i'm freaking intrigued by it. Pls tell me if you know where to get Jigoku Shoujo Season 1. Apparently, she has some special powers and bcos of her power, the pple in village are afraid and probably wanted to sacrifice her to the god of the village. Many things happened after that and probably resulted in the death of her family, village and herself. As a punishment from the village god, she cannot go to hell or heaven, and is bound to this earth for this revenge business. But the strange thing is, her life in the middle place between earth and hell is pretty comfortable. She is always surrounded by beautiful red lilies and the sky is always sunset red and her obachan seems to be such a nice person. She is always seen wearing sch girl's uniform or a very colourful black based kimono when she is on her mission to take away human souls. Her 3 assistants are hone onna, ichimoku ren and wanyudo, who assist her in the pre-death torture of the antagonists and the investigation of the clients' dire situation as to why they wld use jigoku tsushin.

The anime has a repetitive theme so it may bore pple who are looking for exciting juicy action. But i enjoy it thoroughly although the theme is always about seeking revenge, I get to see how warped the japanese society or humanity really is. Sometimes I dun understand why pple use jigoku tsushin on the people they love and yet hate, esp when they are family members. Beloved yet hated. Could it be that love and hatred originates from the same place (ie human heart) that it is makes it so hard for me to understand why you can love and hate the same person at the same time? Some of the characters really deserve to die, while there are others whereby i think their sins are too mild for them to deserve this kind of instant death.
But i guess this is what interests me. Well, if jigoku tsushin really exists, i wouldn't use it, even if i hate somebody so much that i want him/her to die. I dun wanna have a confirmative chop that says i'm going to hell when i die. Nah, pple who make you hate them so much, seriously dun deserve your attention and i dun wanna suffer in hell with the person i hate. So duh, i rather spend my afterlife with pple whom i like, if i have my choice lah!

I've been really busy these past few days, schwork is definitely getting up my nerves.. Project 3011 is really a chore, i'm really bad @ visualising forces and the design of the portable bridge is almost finalised, but once you see the complex design, you know that the calculations to be done on the structure of the bridge is gonna be horrendous. yikes. I spent the entire tuesday afternoon and evening in sch just on the project. SAD life! Have to be diligent and catch up on my undone tutorials and quizzes that are coming up next week! URGH.

Anyway, I'm gonna introduce everybody to a damn interesting anime, called GHOST HUNT. Just as its name suggests, it is all about ghost hunting. I love this series cos it is really mysterious and yet spooky and funny at the same time. The spooky sound effects will make your hair stand!!

Yeah~
My L7 has been revived. The brain of my old L7 spoiled (the PCB), and i was so sad that i just sat at my desk and said repeatedly "how? how? my PCB spoil..sniff sniff" Xiao Chien is such a nice and helpful gal, she managed to get a EE engineer from her team to figure out what's wrong with my PCB. That guy didn't do much, but wut he did was very significant. He replaced the old PCB with a new one! Thank God for that...talk about new ghost in a new shell...hurr
Anyway, the author of sillypore said "there is a high possibility that you short-circuit the PCB when you touched some of the capacitors which still have some charges" Well well, serves me and my itchy fingers right...i swear upon this day, to nv dismantle my L7 anymore..
Lately, i've been busy with my attachment report, had to rewrite the format after my supervisor viewed it, man..i hate writing reports..luckily its just 5000 words...i'm finishing soon..(cross my fingers)
Death Note anime is really cool,
The evil but smart and handsome Light Yagami is the main protangonist of the show who tries his hand at playing God; I'm the justice of this world, i will rid the world of all criminals and make it a better world for everyone to live in..
With the help of the Death Note, Light is able to manipulate the details of death of anybody he wishes to kill, provided he knows how the full name and face of the person.

Death Note is really a must see anime, the plot is brain stimulating and there are so many twists and turns that i always get a shock after that. Light is so damn evil...i wonder how he dies in the end...

haha...did you miss me? hahaha...okok...i have been pretty busy with my EID Business Plan...had been writing the biz plan everyday since last friday...haha...but it was enjoyable...cos i removed my stress by watching BLEACH in between breaks...kekke
Bleach is nice lah!! my EID friend burnt the first 50 episodes for me to watch and my oh my...i was hooked oredi...after that...i went to youtube daily to catch some of the uploaded versions of BLEACH...gosh...youtube is fantastic ok? you can watch movies on it...lotsa anime...including bleach and naruto...superb!
Watching bleach, reminded me of my passion of learning jap language during my upper sec 3 days..when the HA RI FENG just hit singapore...keke...This reminds me that i have to sign up for Jap 1 language elective in my next next Sem....i mus learn jap language!!
lemme introduce bleach to those who dunno anything about this manga/anime series
Bleach's main characters include a 15 yr old boy, kurosaki ichigo..and a Shinigami, (death god) Kuchiki Rukia...Kurosaki ichigo is a boy who has the ability to see the spirits (human spirits) and had a chance encounter with Rukia who changed his entire life when she transfered her powers to ichigo, in order slay a hollow (evil spirit)...After that, countless adventures occurred...and that's why the story line is so ZAI...MUS WATCH MUS WATCH
