Let's lollipop with 2NE1 and Big Bang.

Under YG entertainment, Big Bang is lending a hand to their sister group 2NE1 (to anyone) which was previously named as 21, but had to change the group's name because 21 was already used by a previous artist back in 2005. This song is also being used as the CF for LG Cyon phones and as the name suggests, it is very colourful and fun.

It is funny to see G-Dragon decked out in PINK Jumpsuit!! It's like seeing the Love-Me duo in Skip Beat! anime. I laughed because it's ridiculous and it reminds me of Kyoko Mogami in Skip Beat!

WOOTS ~ Dancing sensation AJ's brand new debut is generating a lot of interests. First, the guerilla street dance promotion video, followed by netizens slamming him for not being original/creative enough to make up his own dance moves in the promotion street dance video. Anyway, it's been a long time since there is an artist that I really want to blog about and that is AJ debuting with his hit single "Dancing Shoes".

It seems that being JYP's tutelage will guarantee success for budding korean singers wannabe. AJ has the baby boy looks, the moves, the trendy voice - suave enough to make all the ladies swoon. Combined together with JYP's creative marketing tactics, you get a singer who is set for success. Look at the sucess of 2am, Wonder Girls, G.O.D., Rain who were/are under JYP 's record label. JYP sure knows how to make the netizens interested, by casting Hyun Ah (Ex-wondergirls) inside the music video. After watching the music video, I think i really need my dancing shoes fix.

Celeb to Binbo Taro aka Celeb and Poor Taro

Wealthy daughter of a hotel chain mogul meets poor widowed father of three. Despite their vastly different values and beliefs, will their chanced encounter blossom into something more?

This is one of the J-drama that I'm currently watching with much gee. Aya Ueto plays Mitazono Alice who is the Japanese version of Paris Hilton and owns her own Fashion Clothing Line "Love Alice". She chanced upon Sato Taro co-incidentally, who is a widowed father of three and hired him as her personal chauffeur. In an attempt to avoid getting engaged to Gotoda, her ex-boyfriend who is trying to pursue her back with her step-mom's backing, she got Taro to act her as current boyfriend. Her stepmom was upset and challenged her to live with Taro who was one of the working poor. It's very interesting to see Aya Ueto dolling up and parading in beautiful clothes like a barbie doll and even more interesting to see a rich glamour girl living in poor taro's shabby, zinc-galvanised sheltered at-ta house and experiencing poverty.

I enjoyed this drama a lot! I highly recommend it to you guys.

Fresh faced May Doni has finally released her 1st single titled "7 Teens" which is her exact age. I think she has a great voice and I enjoy listening to "Molla-ing" (which means "dunno-ing") but I think the MV is odd because the boyfriend she is in love with, is actually a closet gay and has a boyfriend. Her boyfriend felt such extreme guilt for being unable to declare he is gay and that he is cheating on his boyfriend and the MV closed with the two boyfriends lying on the bed under the sheets, holding hands.

I don't think the theme of the MV is appropriate for kids below the age of 21. Anyway I will keep a close lookout for her new album which I believe is going to be good.

Better to lose your boyfriend to another girl than to a guy, because this mean that he was just dating you to cover up his dirty tracks.

Utada Hikaru also known affectionately as Hikki is set to release her US album on 10 Feb 2009 titled "Come back to me". Her US digital single release for "Come back to me" has been leaked on the internet and I managed to lay my hands on this single. I love this SONG a lot since the very moment I heard it. In fact, I felt sorry and sad when I heard the lyrics. Heart-wrenching stuff. Utada Hikaru has the ability to stir up my emotions and that is why she's such a successful artist.

Although tonnes of asian artistes have tried to break into the US market, none have come across as being very successful and most just managed to make just a tiny ripple on the surface of the water in the US entertainment industry. I wish Hikki all the best and hope that she achieves a great breakthrough with her US album!

The Eccentric "We Got Married" bride, Hwa Yobi's newest collaboration with up and coming R&B, Hip Hop Duo, Untouchable has resulted in this beautiful song titled "It's Okay".

I like Hwa Yobi even though she is kinda eccentric on "We Got Married", the best part of her is that she doesn't get angry with Hwan Hee when he treats her badly. She possesses the must-have virtue of a good wife, mild tempered-ness, which is why I think she is a good match with Hwan Hee, even though sometimes I think she deserves someone better.

Hope you enjoy this song because Hwa Yobi has one of the nicest vocals I have ever heard.

Also, let me introduce the new R&B, Hip Hop Duo, Untouchable. They are one of the newbies around in 2009 and surprisingly, their brand new album "Quiet Storm" rocks for two new kids on the block. It's a definite recommended album and you might probably be able to listen to their album if you ask me for the d/l links.

Their latest single "Tell Me Why" depicts the story of a once loving couple who are questioning their love for each other. Poor lady is being interrogated by Untouchable for her eccentric behaviour on wanting to end the r/s and her life. Nice song!

The talented Wheesung who is blessed with the ability to sing falsetto, is back with his new mini album titled "With all my heart and soul" and two different images. One is the masculine image which exhibits Wheesung's toned and chiselled body and the other one is the feminine image that showcases Wheesung in his Eskimo inspired fur hat and a halter like top. What was he thinking with the feminine image, many people thought he was going through some post-trauma with his sexual orientation after the IVY-Cheated-On-Me episode.

Anyway, Lee Hyori is featured in two of his songs after she volunteered herself at his studio. Choco Luv is nice. His album is constantly on replay mode on my itunes.

BoA is finally debuting in USA with her album titled "Eat You Up". Yes, just as the name suggest, the lyrics are full of sexual innuendo which is seemingly just as distasteful as her US version MV. The US version is really a cheapo version and I don't understand why for an asian artist to debut in USA, they always have to be grouped into the R&B, Hip Hop genre, dancing and shaking their bodies like they're some sluts.

The US version MV, killed BoA's cute and sweet image. The Korean version MV is way much better and adds more oophm to the entire feel, and it was awesome. The choregraph, the backdrop, the flow of the MV was a ga-zillions time way better than Diane Martell's MV. Whoever Diane Martell is, his/her work sucks. It doesn't do justice to asia's rising starlet. The only good part of the US version Mv was that I saw various images of "sexy" BoA, which doesn't suit her, and tonnes of screenshots with her flicking her hair fro and back. And not to mention, her micheal jackson crotch jerk.. how sexy is that?

My favourite, awesome boy band is back with a BIG Bang! Their latest single from the album with the same title "Number 1" was leaked on the internet before its due release on the 22th October for the peeps in the Land of the rising sun. I'm actually glad that they sang this entire song in english for their 2nd Japanese album, COS i dun need any translation to know wut they are singing about.

Fashion-disaster-statement-wannabe, G.Dragon displays his affection for unique-but-u-cannot-see-me-eyes-glasses and I think his english accent is still the best other than Tae Yang. I swoon when I saw Tae Yang decked out in his retro sunglasses checking out this hot chick while he sang in his false falsetto voice, OH Tae Yang, u're so fine.. (i'm in a complete fangirl mood when i see/hear Tae Yang) My favourite eye candy, T.O.P. didn't really have a lot of appearances here, as this MV was probably made for Tae Yang.

This is the first Big Bang video that has so many sexy girls dancing around Big Bang and probably the first video that is so sensual, that I think some VIPs will be upset. Dun care lah. Just enjoy the song!

Rain is back and vows to bring Rainism back to the Earth and spread his legacy to all mankind. I bet the Clouds are on CLOUD NINE and I'm not the only one who is thrilled about his up & coming new album. With the leak of his latest single "Love Story" together with two teasers for the MV, I think I have gone pretty fond of the song.

With the help of A-lister, Han Ji Won as the female lead of the MV, many Clouds will have high expectation of the MV. What amazes me is that the teaser themselves are made as if they are trying to promote a typical "Rain is a fucked-up jerk living in with his woman." type of korean drama, which makes it highly anticipating to see hallyu great star being portrayed as yet another scumbag of the society and one of those guys whom some ladies might regret dating.

I'm back with updates from Chennai. Went to T. Nagar's Pondy Bazaar which is their local's shopping district. Surprisingly nice with lotsa shops to see. Shall revisit this place more frequently in future, cos there is a nice Msian muslim indian restaurant where the waiters speak are able to speak malay and the food is familiar to singaporeans. Pelita Restaurant. Heard from my msian colleague that it is actually pretty well known back in Msia.

Nasi lemak, mee goreng, roti pisang, teh tarik can be found in Pelita. YEAH!

North Indian food is actually quite nice, if you're able to tolerate mild level of spiciness. I've been experiencing sudden faster heartbeats ever since I came to Chennai. I've finally discovered what is causing the irregular heart beating patterns, it's the curry or the chili. Well, maybe I'll just go jog off the extra fats that might have accumulated.

Haven't really explored my Canon Ixus, so today i tried sepia and black & white mode. EH, quite nice sia. Gone are the clash of colours and welcome to the world of monotone colours.

Bicycles are probably the cheapest mode of personal transportation other than walking in India. This guy was probably buying something from the store with flower garlands and I managed to capture him in some pose while my car was zooming past the shop. Good job, Canon.

The traffic police guides the road with his wooden rod, which looks like a cane to me. I tot it was funny seeing them wave their "canes" in the air at the cars at certain road junctions.

Wonder girls are back with a retro 60s single titled "Wonder Girls Trilogy". The main single that has been featured is "Nobody" which has been leaked through the internet even before the release of the single. The retro image is interesting and has been receiving lotsa love from the netizens(reminds me of 60s 70s 80s Namie Amuro's Vidal Sasson advertisement). The bowl cut is all the rage now and i definitely think it's cute.

The MV itself is funny and provides comical relief of seeing JYP stuck inside the toilet bowl. It starts off with JYP's famous song "Honey" back in the 90s and seeing the dancing gorilla like this, makes me kinda naseous. What is funny is that in the MV, they portary Wonder Girls as an accidental pop group, while in reality, we all know how much effort JYP put in to groom these girls (some of them are lacking in the talent department).

Oh a side note, I woke up with a puffy upper eyelid. SIAN.

Korea's female version of Rain, aka Son Dambi is a stunning beauty. I wouldn't say she has the best-est vocals ever, but, she is just simply stunning and beautiful to look at. Her special appearance in "We Got Married Thanksgiving Special", featured her as one of the newly "married" bride to Marco, a model who was born in Argentina. I immediately liked her when I saw her chemistry with Marco. With news of Andy & Solbi leaving "We Got Married", the chances of having Son Dambi and Marco (the killer couple with the looks and great body) replacing them is probable, along with Hwanhee and the eccentric xiao zha bor Yobi.

Lee Dong Gun sings, so can Yoon Eun Hye, our favourite Korean Coffee Prince gender blender. I seriously think Yoon Eun Hye can make a living out of singing, cos her voice is unique and she has what it takes to become popular in both acting and singing.

The new video showing Yoon Eun-hye singing the upbeat song cheerfully in the recording studio has given rise to speculation of whether this indicates that she’ll be returning to the pop-music scene, after retiring from girl group Baby VOX to pursue acting in 2005.

Anyway, "Salad Song" is a duet featuring both Lee Dong Gun and Yoon Eun Hye, which was originally sang by Humming Urban Stereo. It's actually pretty addictive and pleasant to the ears with electronica feel to it. Hope you enjoy it.

The popular SHINEE boys who have been receiving much love from their nunas while serenading them with their debut single "Nuna is so pretty", have just released their new album "Shinee World" on 23rd Aug 2008. Having just won Rookies of the Year Award from Mnet's 20 Choice Award 2008 was a confirmation of their popularity currently in Korea.

Their new single "Love like oxygen" is a direct rip-off from Europen artist Martin Hedegaard's popular single (Show the World). It is apparent that SBS Entertainment wants them to succeed so badly that they are provided with a fail-proof single. The beginning eerily sounded like what Michael Jackson would sing. With a new album, comes a new a image. Their new image has toned down from attention seeking pastel coloured streetwear to subtle mature (basic colours: BLACK, WHITE, GREY) smart casual wear. Lol. Flapping the tails of their coats is interesting, like what a proud peacock would do.

Bada, the ahjumma revamps her image for the better. She recently posted pictures of her bridal gowns photospread in her mini hompy. I must say she looksdrop dead gorgeous. In the past, I wouldn't even take a double take at her ahjumma pictures. It doesn't do me any justice to take a double look at a once popular member of the S.E.S. trio (which was really popular back in the 90s) whose dress sense went from cool to really bad and became branded as the ahjumma celebrity.

Now, she looks elegant, radiant, sexy, cute and you can definitely use any other adjectives that do not hint at her old ahjumma dress sense to describe her bridal gown look. Big Bang is back with a "bang". Their 3rd album "Stand Up" features 6 tracks, with G-Dragon experimenting a horrible half shaven mohawk and heavily eye-lined eyes. I personally felt that the third album wasn't as "ZAI" as the previous two albums which spawned popular hits like "Lies", "Always", "Last Goodbye" etc. The last song on the album "Oh My Friend" was an experimental rock-er song, which didn't appeal to me at all. Totally different from the usual R&B, Hip Hop genre.

Check out Haru Haru MV, which tells the tale of a terminally ill girl (Park Min Young) who decides not to tell her beloved G-Dragon about her illness and enlists TOP's help to make G-Dragon leave her. I dare say TOP looks good with his dark rimmed eyeliner, whereas it doesn't make G-Dragon look outstanding (looked more like dark eye rings), despite his attempt to get a more masculine image.

Oh My Friend MV sees the individual big bang-ers having different occupations. Dae Sung, the boxer who gets a lucky break who manages to punch his opponent down, Seung Ri, the street mimer who also blows balloons for random people, Tae Yang, a factory technician who looks really good in his overalls, TOP, the handsome traffic police and G-Dragon, a crazed mental patient who drove away in the hospital's vehicle.

This is the Shinee (pronounce as SHINY rather than Shi Ne which means die in Japanese) boy band, the boys who sang "Nunna is very pretty" and danced really nimbly to their debut single. To be honest, they all look like ba po except for the mushroom head ~~boy~~ girl. Ah..so this is how Shinee garner attention and new fans by cross dressing. It's really a joke. I don't see how their "prettiness" is able to impress and win over the hearts of the male audience, or maybe it's just me being biased or jealous that mushroom head ~~boy~~ girl looks better than me.

Korea's Fly To The Sky R&B duo has been around the industry since 1998. Most celebrities would get plastic surgery before they debut and some of them aren't shy about their plastic adventures. Hwan Hee, or better known as Fany or the better looking lad, had plastic surgery done to his eyes and his nose. Hwan Hee admitted to the national TV on Ya Shim Man Man that he went under the knife because he always had a complexity about his looks.

Crystal Kay who is half-american, half korean is back with her new Japanese Single titled "ONE". The song will be used as the theme song for the upcoming Pokemon movie. I have heard all the tracks on the single and thought it was really nice and catchy. Totally my kind of feel. Anyway, she will be releasing her new album "Color Change!" on 8th August. But I do not understand the frumpy purple flock that she is wearing, it doesn't accentuate her figure at all. The MV is alright, don't quite understand the balloon theme and pairings of pretty young girls in her video.

Suh In Young has a good voice and the single rocks my socks!!

In this video, In Young sports various rendition of the mushroom hairstyle and high waist pants/skirts. Her two Jewelry Sisters gave support as back-up dancers. I wonder how she always manages to wear these ridiculous stuff and still look so good. Suh In Young's fettish with high heel shoes has always led to her affectionate labeling of them (non living things, which make all women's toes hurt) "CHILDREN" and to the featuring of her children in her wedding photo shoot and MV.

'Harried teachers take out 'monster parent insurance'

Look out, teachers, “monster parents” are loose in the community; you better get insured.

In fact, more and more teachers are doing just that, Yomiuri Weekly (July 13) finds. The first policy of the type the magazine wryly dubs “monster parent insurance” appeared in 2000. That year, it attracted 1,300 teachers. By 2007, the number of insured teachers had soared 16-fold, to 21,800.

“Monster parent insurance” is designed to protect a teacher against frivolous lawsuits by a growing number of parents who see cause for complaint everywhere and will sue at the drop of a hat. Once upon a time, teachers had dignity and parents kept a respectful distance. But the lofty social status once claimed by the profession has eroded steadily over the past 20 years. Now, says Yomiuri Weekly, when an irate parent marches into the classroom, the teacher cringes.

And who can blame him or her? What rational response, after all, can be given to a parent with a complaint like this one cited by the magazine: “Since the use of cell phones on school trips is prohibited, I expect the school to pay the portion of my child’s fixed monthly phone bill covering the time he’s away.”

We aren’t told how the teacher handled this, and there’s no indication this particular case ended up in court, but a lawsuit, though perhaps only an intermittent reality, is increasingly perceived as a perpetual threat, which is what insurance is for.

A standard “monster parent” policy, costing about 5,000 yen a year, provides coverage of up to 100 million yen, which gives an idea of the kind of compensation parents ask for when they take a teacher to court.

And what sort of classroom mishaps might get a teacher sued? Yomiuri Weekly cites some examples specified by a typical policy. Suppose, for instance, one pupil stabs another pupil in the eye with a pencil and the teacher finds himself accused of inadequate supervision. Or what if, on a class trip to a factory, a kid causes damage to the machinery? Or if sloppy paperwork on the school’s part damages a child’s eligibility for overseas study? The possibilities are endless.

“It’s a sign of the times,” Yomiuri Weekly remarks, “that disputes which people used to be settle by talking things over among themselves now end up in court.”

No wonder teachers walk on eggshells—especially teachers in private schools. Parents who pay high fees to get their children educated have correspondingly less tolerance for anything going wrong.

One skeptic is Hosei University Prof Naoki Ogi, introduced by the weekly as “well-informed on the ‘monster parent’ problem.”

The threat of lawsuits hanging over teachers’ heads “causes relations between parents and teachers to deteriorate,” Ogi says. “Take a teacher to court, and the teacher will say whatever has to be said for the purpose of self-defense. That means he’ll lie if necessary. And what does this do to the children involved? They learn that teachers can’t be trusted. Parents and teachers seem to forget,” he concludes, “that the children are the most important” actors in this drama.

Princess Lee is back with her highly anticipated 3rd album, 'It's Hyorish'. YES. Interesting name. However, plagiarism seem to plague Lee Hyorish whenever she releases her albums. She has been accused by the Korean netizens for imitating Christina Aguilera's Candyman for her "U Go Girl MV" after spotting some similar sceneshots during some side by side comparison of both MVs.

Even her “It’s Hyorish” album cover bears an uncanny resemblance to a Japanese t-shirt that has Japanese actress Aki Hoshino on it.

It isn't the first time that Princess Lee has been accused of plagiarism. During the release of her 2nd album, "Dark Angel", the songwriters of Britney Spears' Single "Do Somethin" accused Hyori's songwriters of her single "Get Ya" in February 2006. It seems that Princess Lee enjoys riding on other peoples' coat tails and taking credits for the originality that she is lacking in. But then again, such controversy would probably help to boost Lee Hyori's popularity by piqueing people's curiousity.

June, one of the relatively new artist in the Japanese Music scene, rocks my world. When I first heard his single "Pride of Tomorrow" as one of the ED single in D.Gray Man anime, I knew I had to find out more about the singer.

JUNE first began to sing for himself during his second year of intermediate school. After being told by his friends that he was bad at singing, he practiced for two years until, finally, during his first year of high school, he was able to move his friends to tears with his singing.

At the age of 17, JUNE recorded a cover of Musiq's "LOVE" for a demo tape. This song reached the ears of famed R&B producer Matsuo "KC" Kiyoshi, who then flew to Korea to meet JUNE. In order to prepare for a debut in Japan, JUNE studied Japanese for a year. He made his major debut under SONY in November of 2006 at the age of 19.

Jam Hsiao 蕭敬騰 is another one of my favourite singers from Taiwan. He appeared in 超級星光大道 as a PK contestant and rose to fame shortly after winning Aska Yang in one of the PK rounds. He is widely known for his unique voice and wide vocal ranges and has collaborated with Taiwanese Diva Ah Mei in "一眼瞬間" which really blew me off. "原諒我" reflected some of the emotions that I had in the past and I think it was wonderfully sang.

He is also known as Yoga Lin, a newcomer to the Taiwanese Music Industry, who is the widely acclaimed winner of 第一季超級星光大道, a popular reality TV cum singing competition. I think he looks meek and is really shy when he goes to attend variety shows but he is definitely a talented person as he attained five rounds of perfect scores (20 & above) continuously during the competition, which is still an unbeatable record up to present.

In his latest album, "神秘嘉宾", I find majority of his ballads really pleasing and meaningful and I personally favour "伯樂". After Julius asked me what is "伯樂" during our weekend KTV session, I went home and asked my mom. Her explanation was that "伯樂" is someone who recognizes a talented person and him the opportunity to showcase his talents to the world. I am starting to realize the beauty and wittiness of the Chinese language, ever since my trip to Taiwan.

Korean's Madonna, Uhm Jung Hwa revives the 80's look, favouring the loud candy coloured tops and neon-lit backgrounds. Pink lipstick, exaggerating fake eyelashes and the retro bob wig somehow succeeded in making her look younger by 10 years (she is 37 yrs old loh).

Looks aside, I think Uhm Jung Hwa's vocals are actually quite weak and I wonder how she managed to survive in the entertainment industry as a singer for all these years. Her new single "DISCO" features TOP from Big Bang, who looks sleek and yet greasy with his new hairdo.

The latest single by Brown Eyes (Korean Group of cos) is wonderfully sang and the MV has an arty farty feel to it. However, it didn't fail to deliver a sense of eeriness when the possessive male lead refused to let his girlfriend go..and also, when the ventriloquist doll mouthed the words "Kajima" which means "Don't go" which was so high pitched that the hairs on my arms stood up on their ends. I'm finally back from Taiwan...but i'm just too lazy to blog about taiwan...

i'll put up some pictures later when I feel like it.. It was a wonderful shopping trip to Taiwan..

Splurge like mad.. 7 bags, 7 pairs of shoes, tonnes of cosmetics and accessories, more than 15 sets of tops..and of cos food..haha.. I wanna go to Taiwan next year again!! It is a girl's heaven!! And we bumped into many NTU students while touring Taipei~

The taiwanese variety shows and japanese dramas and korean dramas were just absolutely fantastic that Constance and I will just watch these dramas and variety shows every night (until 3am) and every morning. The songs they play in Taiwan is exactly what I listen to here in Singapore... The feeling is so wow (akin to dejavu?) when I recognised the jpop, kpop songs that was broadcasted over their sound systems in the shopping malls and shops.. Constance and I agreed that Taipei was the best place to live in where our pop culture needs (j-drama and k-drama, kpop and jpop) were all easily available and shopping is forever in abundance with many many interesting places to visit!!

There were many cute doll-faced taiwanese gals there but sad to say.. I didn't see many handsome boys there.. many pretty boys though.. The food there was unbelievably fantastic!!! YUMMY.. I have been feeling deprived of the taiwanese snacks nowadays when I am alone in my room around midnight with my stomach growling in the background..

Oh I saw the movie poster of Red Cliff while I was in Taiwan and was wondering if it will be released in Singapore...

As I can see, we are way behind our asian neighbors even in terms of movie releases (even msia and brunei had it released in april).. Looking forward to see this movie..

Vista Lu Guang Zhong's 80s look is really nerdy and doesn't fits the image of "I'm a singer". Behold his bowl cut hair (only seo in yeoung looks good in bowl cut), his wide framed specs, lower-sec-sch-boy shorts and knee length socks...the 22 year old debuted with an album titled "100種生活" or rather "100 kinds /types of lifestyles".

Perhaps this is his method to obtain the love of the taiwanese netizens (who are mostly students) who are able to find common ground with his down-to-earth, nerdy image. Finally, somebody who looks below average but sounds just as great as Wu Jia Hui..What a refreshing change from those sexy, cool starlets that we are used to seeing on TV..

Thank God, he is blessed with a beautiful voice and a sound mind to compose his own lyrics. But I seriously think this boy needs a make-over. Period.

HOT is (Big Bang) Tae Yang's first solo debut mini album. However, none of the songs in the album really had a strong impression on me, maybe I expected too much from Tae Yang whom I believe has the most potential in the vocals and dance department despite being a midget.

Only after looking at the mv of "Look at me only" did I feel slightly impressed. The mv is kinda interesting, as I think the female love interest looks just as great as Song Hye Gyo and my favourite member from Big Bang, Top looks just as suave as usual. It shows the female love interest cheating on Tae Yang with different guys who are played by Tae Yang's group members, leaving Tae Yang serenading and dancing in the background while he desires that the object of his affection will only look at him and no one else. The bloppers and off scene NGs are something to look forward to at the end of the mv. The choreograph of the dances are pretty neat and not too bad for a 21 year old kid. haiz, korean celebrities are getting younger and younger huh.

Prayer features Tae Yang showing off his hot bod with his signature hip hop outfits. I kind of like his shoes. Darn, I have been restraining myself from shopping for my June Taiwan trip...I may go shopping for nice, unique shoes there!!

OMO..SHINEE, the NEW boyband from SM entertainment. Wasn't bothered about them initially cos I tot they were just another boyband like Superjuniors which is rather trashy with 13 male members (although some of them are really hot, sorry to SJ fans out there).

But I was so wrong! These boys are clearly talented in their vocals, making all the songs in their debut mini album so catchy and their dances are so sleek. I was rather shocked that the group's dancing machine is a 14 yr old mushroom haired boy. I saw their trendy shoes, and i realised that majority of the Singaporean guys dun wear shoes lidat!!!!!!

These guys are really young and baby faced (not visually appealing to me though) and I realized that there are two members who are sporting the mushroom hair style. I tot it only looks good on Suh In Young, didn't know it can make baby faced boys look like girls or ah sha. hahahaa.

This is interesting. Moon Ji Eun has been compared to sexy diva Lee Hyori bcos of the fact that they both bank on their looks and figures for the sexy image.

In my opinion they aren't even on par. Moon Ji Eun? She sings alright and may be compared because of her outfit that is similar to what Hyori's wearing in Toc Toc Toc. I also realised that the two of them like to swing their long hair a lot. Moon Ji Eun's song is kinda catchy though, with the "wee oh wee wee oh".

Lee Hyori is very daring, sexy and charismatic through her dances although she is approaching her thirties. Of late, she has been criticized by the Korean public for her overtly sexy image at her age in a real life variety show in which she was disguised as fat, undesirable lady. Nobody recognised her and the host interviewed Korean citizens in a train with nobody recognising that they were actually sitting in a train cabin with the sexy diva herself! However, after hearing such comments, Lee Hyori burst into tears and it was a really embarrassing (sticky) situation for both the host and the diva.

Her solution to those criticisms, is to become more active in hosting variety shows and get cast into her own reality TV show that will broadcast her unglamorous and normal life behind the scenes in "Off The Record". Well, being famous equals having recognition, fame as well as gaining anti-fans. She may be Korea's top star with the highest paycheck right now but I suspect that Lee Hyori is worried that she will sooner or later be replaced by new talents (the korean entertainment industry is never in lack of celebrity-wannabes.) so I guess this is another one of her marketing tactics to ensure that she is well-liked by the Korean public and also gain foothold in another area in the entertainment sector to keep her career going while she is still Korea's favourite gal.

I just fell in love with the new ongoing drama titled "Zettai Kareshi" - "Absolute Boyfriend". I love it!! This is the season of love and romance, i'm loving it!! The drama was based on the popular shoujo manga "Zettai Kareshi". I was grinning from ear to ear watching the first three episodes of the drama and totally loved it so much that I have finished reading the manga online. The plot is slightly different from the drama's and man, it's super sweet. Talk about the freedom after exams, and finishing up FYP presentation slides.

It is about Izawa Riiko, a girl who has been boyfriendless, rejected by all her objects of affections since high school. Tenjo Night is the (oh mo..super dark and handsome) robot that has been programmed to be Riiko's ideal boyfriend, the type 01 robot manufactured by Kronos Heavens that vows to solve the woes of all the lonely ladies out there.

Jealousy arose among her female colleagues and to avoid any unpleasant situations, she told them all that he was her cousin (itotou). Her best friend, Mika seeks to snatch Night away from Riiko, just like how she has been snatching away all of Riiko's crushes since high school. Her objective: I'm only interested in what isn't mine.

Riiko initally saw Night as a electric appliance, always saying no to his request for ecchi, and gets really bothered by Night whenever he says stuff like "Riiko is the best girlfriend in the world, I love you, good morning Riiko, here's a good morning kiss for you." But when Night began to give his all to help Riiko out whenever she encountered huge problems at work and financially, Riiko began to fall in love with him, slowly but surely, even though she knew that he was a robot which is still rather inapt in understanding the feminine mystique.

Please watch it!!! You know what, Japan's version of My Sassy Girl is also out...I dunno what is the title, but I'm darn interested!

Now, I really have to recommend this Korean Variety show to everybody, it is called "We Got Married", it is this reality show about 4 couples who are celebrities and they play the make-believe newly married couples who live together, doing activities (other than copulating) that will bring them closer together. All in all, it is really fun to watch this variety show, cos I can't wait to see the chemistry sizzling between each individual couple! I'm so intrigued and awed by the sweet romantic actions by some of the "husbands" (gush)!! Totally love this variety show, until I will watch the raw version first before the subtitles are out!!

My favourite couples are Andy * Solbi & Alex * Shin Ae (it's a tie) and it is always so interesting to see the quabbles & cute make ups between Crown J * In Young. I totally hate how Jung Hyung Don treats Saori, like she wasn't important and I can't forgive him for leaving her alone to roller skate in the park, while he got really fired up with his basketball match. Fat ass. He has been labelled as the bad husband by everybody with his couldn't care less attitude and MCP arrogance.

Alex & Shin Ae

Alex is the most romantic guy in this show, he is really caring, sweet and romantic towards Shin Ae. The chemistry between them is undeniable and they really feel like lovers, with Alex being the one who is always taking pictures of the good moments with his polaroid, while Shin Ae slowly warms up to him and is obviously basking in happiness. What melted my heart was how Alex sang her a song (Like a Child) and bought her a cake with the words "Fate" in korean which (if you read backwards) also means "Love".

Alex was a cook before becoming a professional singer, and there was once he made breakfast for Shin Ae who was still sleeping, and it looked really delicious, while Shin Ae just sat there in amazement. I am always touched when Shin Ae revealed bits and pieces of her past that made her very reserved and cautious around people in fear of getting hurt. Alex would always try to get her to be comfortable around him and it is really nice to see them together. Once Shin Ae twisted her ankle during a boxing session with Alex, she didn't even complained about it and just smiled to Alex saying "Oppa, it's fine, it's ok" and went on with the filming. When Alex saw her in the ankle cast, he was shocked and during the sixth episode, he surprised her with a foot massage, applied foot cream caringly and put on her socks for her.

My heart melts whenever Alex does something for Shin Ae. Both Shin Ae and Alex are really likable and both are similar in that they appear to look strong cos of their strong physique but actually have a very small and vulnerable heart on the inside. I always beat the table and scream when things got a bit too intense or when something really sweet was done.

Andy & Solbi

I totally love this couple, they are so cute! It is surprisingly how Solbi manages to aegyo (cute) her way and Andy is always so nice, giving in to Solbi's request such as "Oppa, I want to sleep in a princess bed" or "Oppa, you make the kimchi". I like how Andy dance his Heart Dance, and how neat he is and how he is always so nice towards Solbi. I feel that Solbi likes him, and try to express her feelings for him through these nice actions. They gave each other facial taking turns to lie on each other's lap, wored couple pajamas, played pool together (the winner gets to bobo (kiss) the other person), fed each other zha jiang mian and wiped each other's mouth. SUPER CUTE!!! The latest series had the Shinwa members playing a prank on Solbi and Andy, forcing them to kiss on the lips when Andy was preparing to feed Solbi a strawberry with his lips!!!! (i think i kept shouting "oh mo, oh mo, ahhhhhhh"... then beats the table...was highly agitated but super happy when things lidat happen.)

Solbi is very good with her words and always praises Andy when he does something. I believe she knows how to stroke a man's ego and make them feel damn good about themselves. She definitely trys her best to be a good wife, slapping Andy's butt every now and then in public. Solbi actually expressed her feelings of jealousy when she sees Andy on other variety shows with other female celebrities (not all guys can understand this, especially those that aren't possessive and enjoy having their own space and time away from their girlfriends). Anyway, I like Andy because he is also quite capable as a househusband, always folding clothes, keeping the house spick and span, knows how to cook, nice and gentle towards Solbi who sometimes orders him around. His heart dance is damn funny and cute and they are the couple who have the highest occurrence of skinship (bobo). I hope they get together in real life.

Crown J & Soh In Young

You have no idea how much I enjoy this couple because In young is so bratty and always say hurtful stuff to Crown J who always have to take her rubbish. But Crown J is quite cute in that he believes that winning is not important and what is more important is that In Young takes control and that he is able to make her happy. The first time they moved in together, both of them had a quarrel over the bedsheets (In Young hated the white bedsheets and proceeded to bring out her own blue floral bedsheets) and the number of shoe boxes they had. If you noticed, both Crown J and In Young are the type of people who are very particular about their hair, their accessories (jewelry, ring, watch, shoes) and clothes. So it wasn't very easy going initially. Crown J often did push ups to let out his anger (good anger management). In Young is very demanding and harsh with her words sometimes, leaving Crown J lost for words. There was once Crown J went to Atlanta and couldn't go out of the hotel room because of the hurricane. In Young was so furious that Crown J managed to shop for his own shoes and undergarments and didn't bother to bring anything back for her (new products: clothes, jewelry, shoes, bags, wadever).

I still remember how pissed she was, when they unpacked his luggage while Crown J went boasting of his newly bought products.

She flipped everything over and said "All of these are YOURS? didn't you say there was a hurricane?"
Crown J said "I bought all these during the 1st day before the hurricane at a supermarket."
In Young apparently pissed "Dun they sell female undergarment at the supermarket?" and proceeded to step over his clothes and walked into her bedroom, fuming. That scene was totally hilarious.

She even managed to get Crown J to dye his hair brown, a colour which his mother hated and made him look like some dude from Slam Dunk. hahaha. Crown J kept complaining about the huge sacrifice he made to dye his hair bcos of her request to have a couple look. (Actually I hate it when Crown J kept emphasizing, it sort of meant "See, i did this for you, aren't I great?" Pls man.)

Despite being ill treated by In Young, Crown J always springs back to life and feels really happy with a sense of satisfaction when In Young hugs him when he made her feel touched and moved. In Young sure knows how to show her appreciation for Crown J, when he gave her something nice like a pillowcase full of candies on WHITE DAY (Korea's V day) and a pair of high heels. She always hugged him, once by the side, and the other time from the back. Damn cute. Despite her fierce and assertive behaviour (which is most of the time), In Young has a cute and sweet part of her and that is when she tried to coax Crown J from being upset and when she is really really happy with Crown J. I reckon In Young is hard to maintain as a girlfriend because she seems to be only satisfied by material stuff and lashes out on Crown J when he does something that irks her.

Alas, all things sweet and nice do not last. Alex & Shin Ae will be removed from the show as Alex has to start recording his new solo album and will not have time to spare for the recordings of the program. I will definitely miss their romantic feel. haha. Hwang Bo and SS501's cute boy Kim Hyung Joong will be the new replacement. Hwang Bo is older than Kim Hyung Joong by 6 years, which is weird. I wonder how it will turn out anyway. hahaha.

I will not bother to blog about the er xin fat ass who mistreats his "wife" Sasori. He doesn't know how to coax her and totally don't want to care about her. So sad for Sasori.

Haiz. I screwed up prof com presentation big time.
I know I can articulate fluently usually during presentations.
But I just freaked out in the beginning and freaked out towards the ending.
It is by far the worse presentation ever, i know i was shaking from my hands to my legs.
I know I stuttered many times. I'm so dead!!!
CRAP.
I was such a nervous wreck, and it was my 1st time underperforming for a presentation!
I think it had to do with events that occurred the previous night.
Lack of sleep. Lack of rehearsing by myself.
SAD, the chiam tao for Prof Com is just gone after the screwed up presentation.

I can't believe it. I am going to concentrate on my studies from now on.....and say goodbye to all distractions.

Was in my friend's room doing prof com project just now, and this cuteness came meowing its way into the room (door open of cos). Then i petted it and played with it.
Funny when it tried to use our slippers as scratch post.

I'm dying of boredom in lab, so I shall tell you something about some fyp related incidents.

You Should Never TRY This AT HOME!

I bought home this debonding solution to remove the hardened adhesive found on my substrates. I don't know why, the sales engineer didn't bother to give me the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for this chemical. HELL. I didn't know it was bloody acidic and corrosive.

I went home and decided that I have to remove the hardened adhesives so I can reuse the specimens. The minute I opened the lid, the lid popped out and the large drops of the chemical flew out together with it. Some landed on my forehead, some landed on my laptop and my table.
I was damn pissed, had this burning sensation on my forehead, luckily never fly into my eyes. Ran to wash it away. When I came back, some surfaces of the laptop and the table was gone.

MY Eyes ARE Bloodshot RED again!

I dunno why, but it seems like my eye whites become really bloodshot with all the blood vessels surfacing and the (eye white) area that is covered by the contact lenses become permanently reddish/pink in colour. Horrible.

WW dun even want to look into my eyes when I talk to him. SO BAD! Cover my eyes with his hands somemore. My roomie gasped in disbelief cos both of my eye whites were REALLY Bloodshot.

I wonder izzit bcos I'm over-straining my eyes by staring at the computer for long hours or izzit bcos of eye sensitivity after exposure to hexavalent chromium in the lab environment where I did the immersion experiments. Or izzit sore eye or izzit infection bcos the contact lenses solution is not suitable for my eyes? I religiously cleaned and rub my contact lenses with saline solution daily. This is the first time I experienced such redness to the extent that I only started feeling slight discomfort only today.

I have lotsa pple commenting abt my blood-shot eyes lately. Tired. I think my eye whites are turning red very quickly esp when I'm wearing contacts, but I dun feel any pain or blurriness in my vision. SO, it's not Sore eye. My cousin said I look like some zombie in "I'm Legend." What the hell loh.

yeah. I "binged" on Anime when I was really stressed up and SUPER not motivated to do my fyp report.

Oh. I've been following the sex scandal of EDC and his gfs/flings. Horrified. Initially, I thought somebody was trying to play tricks on them, by photo shopping celebs' faces on nude bodies by some inconsiderate tricksters who tried to grab the headlines while jeopardizing the celebs' careers. The truth revealed that EDC is a pro at getting into ladies' pants and imo, I think he is a little psycho. Filming sex tapes or taking nude pictures of all his "conquests" is really too psycho, not deleting them and storing them in his laptop which he sent for repair is his own carelessness. There are people out there who really think EDC is zai, and they acknowledge his playboy skills and ability to make so many female A list celebs slp with him. I beg to differ and categorises him as a sex fiend who has a psychology disorder to capture his conquests doing sex acts on him on a regular basis.

Well, if he didn't film them, his sex scandals wouldn't be exposed by "Kira" and periodically leaked online to the extent that the Hong Kong Police and Interpool are unable to do anything about it, except to apprehend innocent people who uploaded the nude pictures.

His insatiable desire to take nude pictures caused a marriage to be called off (bobo chan), a marriage to be on the rocks (cecilia cheung) and loss of job opportunities for himself and others. What is worse is that many of these female celebrities are going to discriminated as cheap whores in the near future, sex scandals are easily overlooked in the west, but not so in the east. Asians aren't that forgiving when such things arises. I totally despise EDC, cos he even dragged his current girlfriend into the sex scandals. His current gf's nude pictures are splashed all over the net, and she is still standing on his side. His dirty past has just caught up with him. What a way to spend CNY. I wonder if he will be safe, esp when vinchy's uncle has connections with the hk triad.

I wouldn't say that EDC is totally at fault here. The other female celebs were willing parties and they knew they were being filmed and their private shows were only for edc's eyes. But I wonder why he had to keep them in some encrypted folder even after he professed that his only love is vinchy. Still entertaining sexual fantasies of other women even when he has vinchy. yucks. pyscho.

I shudder at thought that there are many other men just like EDC (handsome, charming, sweet-talker, addicted to sex, psycho) who are lurking in the outside world waiting to prey on innocent girls.

(who was originally known as Miyabi which stands for Elegance in Japanese Kanji and currently adopts the name of myv - He's the only artist whom I know changes name really frequently.)
I was just feeling really bored from all the FYP stress and surfed the net to check out this guy called Miyavi.

He is mixed blood, born to a Japanese mom & Korean dad, Korean grandparents came from Jeju Island. He's not afraid to say he's half korean and half japanese, considering the fact discrimination of Korean blooded people still exists in the twentieth century's Japan.

I think he bears a striking resemblance to Kim Hee Chul from Super Junior, and they have something in common: the two of them have the androgynous look. Just that Miyavi has numerous tattoos and piercings all over his body. When I first saw him, I tot OMG, that must have been really painful. What really scared me was that he used the same bright pink shade of nail polish as my toenails on his fingernails!

He was the guitarist for a visual kei band, Dué le Quartz which was disbanded in 2002 and is now one of the highly recognised and talented guitarist cum singer in nippon. Visual Kei is a visual style for J rock band artistes who put on elaborate makeup, weird outfits, dramatic hairdos. This is really quirky and is considered as fan service to entertain their FANS. You only get this kind of quirky ideas in the land of Japan.

This guy has no qualm in wearing skirts, something which majority of the singaporean guys would not think of doing so in public. But then again, there's something about him that oozes self-confidence that suggests that the clothes he wear doesn't define his sexuality, but instead they define who he is, insanely wild and unpredictable just like his music.

After doing this research on Miyavi, I was able to understand why Miyavi wore the clothes he wore, donned the weirdo, ever changing hairstyles. He was a Visual Kei j rocker when he was just 17 and that probably had an enormous influence in his dressing, which can still be seen evidently as part of his daily dressing style which has a fuse of streetwear and still many elements of visual kei aspects.

I think he's really interesting to watch. So watch him. I bet you all saw him before on my blog, cos he won my respect by playing the guitar so skillfully and flawlessly. Gasps. (Remember Selfish love?) My first impression of this guy was.....man.....he looks satanic...

Anyways, Life's been hectic. FYP consumes my life, attention and majority of the time when I'm awake. I wish I had more time, cos i haven't complete half of the experiments. It's gross. I pray I will be safe and healthy and wouldn't any illness or damage after my fyp, as there is one certain experiment that requires me to be exposed to hazardous chemicals. GOD please be with me, so i wouldn't get lung cancer, blind my eyes or scar my hands or get skin diseases.

Anyway, last week I helped out at cordelia's bazaar booth for her virgin real life store for 2 days.
It isn't my first time doing this kind of sales, I was forced to sell stuff for my dad when I was in my secondary school days. But all is well, it's all in the past oredi.

Remembering how I often get scoldings my dad, was really one negative experience. I had to be more alert as there were alot of pickpockets. There was once, I had an item (couldn't remember if it was a sunglass or spectacles handkerchief) stolen from right under my nose. How terrible.

The 2 malay uncles were patronising my store and asking me qns abt the price and stuff and were quite fussy about the goods. The aunty next to my store kept asking me to be alert, as she knew they were up to no good, keen observation. I was just tired, can't be bothered. I think I sold them sunglasses, and they were complaining why dun have packaging and cloth, (they bought cheaper ones, not provided mah), then they asked me to pass them the cloth to wipe. Then they looked at other stuff and took their own sweet time and tried to distract me with other questions, and then they paid money and went off. I didn't remember about the cloth, so they kept quiet abt it, took it, hid inside their pockets and walked away.

Ltr, the aunty next store scolded me and told me how they stole the cloth away..she could see thru their tactics. I was pretty upset about it, cos it was my fault and also bcos I didn't understand why would anybody want to steal specs cloth. They are such Cheapos and the best part of it was, they stole during the festival when they were supposed to be fasting and trying to be "clean" from sin.

Anyway, yes, cordy's business was really good. Thanks to friends who came down to support (Shiyin, Diana, Geraldine and Meiting)! Muacks, ai si ni men le. Then there are those who came by and kept asking "how much are the designer ducks? are they for sale? how much is the clock?", qian bian lehz.

Yeah, cordy was really busy, her business was so good that she had to keep making new earrings and bracelets and necklaces, but still she couldn't keep up with replacing newly sold jewelleries. So the supplies diminished by the end of each day, with more space on the table for decorations. Yup, I like her designs and you should too cos they are all unique and one of a kind. Un-matching earrings and GOLD are her signature style. Unique filigrees imported from australia, united states and intricate japanese beads and other stuff are often used! Do watch her blog for updates every a month!

HI ALL!

Long time no blog.
Hurr, actually I've been more active @ my LJ blog shop, trying to sell my 2nd hand clothes but to no avail.

Well, we shall see.
I have ideas but no time to implement them.

Today I was really pissed by this particular Lab Technician in my school. I wanted to book the Instron equipment, went down to the lab to check out the dimensions of some critical features that I needed to tally as I had to fit a dolly into the Instron machine. I was talking to my friend who was doing her FYP at the instron machine and this super ZHUAI lab tech came over.

I gave him a weak smile, cos he was looking at me,
then he enquired "Are you in the same FYP as her?"

"No." was my answer.

He gave out a smirk and said "You are going to use the Instron machine? Too late."

"I just dun understand why you FYP students like to start your fyp once the semester start. Other fyp students like her oredi started to collect data since December holidays. We will be running alot of projects on the Instron once school reopens, and you haven't even go through any training. You wldn't be able to make it. You want to use ah? Go tissue engineering lab there loh, use those instron without any training lah." He complained exasperatedly to me, as if I'm some dumb-good-for-nothing-bitch who wants to make more trouble for him.

Wah lau, my fault ah?!? If you all know, the external company I worked with for the fyp, delayed the start of my fyp for 1 entire semester. MY FAULT AH? Wang Ba Dan. I'm trying my best to finish my stuff since start of December. I had to redo cos I messed up one important parameter. WAH LAU! I'm trying my best ok? I'm not a slacker who doesn't care about FYP. I CARE HOR, i care so much that I can't fall aslp sometimes.

The very freaking moment he said that, I felt a rush of different emotions going through me.
Panic. "What!?! How can tt be?"
Worry. "DEN HOW?"
Pessimistic. "FYP die liao."
Sad. "I'm gonna fail, and not graduate with at least a 2nd upper honours."
Anger. "tamade, who are you to say i can't use the instron machine."

I was so angry, that i felt blood rushing to my face, as if steam would come out from my head. (muhahaha) I was so pissed that I wanted to cry. But I controlled my facial expressions and tried to look nonchalant when I replied him.
"the external company started me off late." was all i could manage, trying hard not to break my mask of nonchalantness, and not to cry as I replied him.
"There was another student in the same situation, the company started him late." He tried to smile and walked away.

I get angry easily. But I seldom get so pissed that I want to cry.
I can remember there are only 2 times when I get so angry that I want to cry.
Once was Jermyn, screamed at him and i nearly broke down and cry after my outblast.
Now, is this bastard. I offended you ah. Idiot.
I wouldn't die, I will make it and score wonderfully well for my FYP. you jus wait and see.
Shame on you. So old liao, EQ still so low. Pui.

I'm back, Dec's been pretty hectic and I've been pretty lazy these days to even blog.

Days like these probably wouldn't last forever, when I'm stuck at home/laboratory/factory doing fyp.

Mindless msn, brainwashing movies + anime, endless music enjoyment, pigging out on hello pandas is an extreme form of playtime for me when i need a break from fyp. I actually reread my old blog posts, found myself reminiscing about certain things. It's silly but I wonder what kind of a person I would have become if I didn't went through the various ups & downs, drill consequences of impulsive-it-must-be-love actions. Perhaps, somebody with a more positive outlook towards life.

I tried blogging about korean celebrities and I think it's more interesting to read what others have to type than to come out with new articles myself. L--A--ZZZZ---YYY

Lately, I have some crazy ideas about starting an online webstore to help my dad sell his stuff and clothes. I dunno if it will actualise into anything at all, cos I will probably be free-er to do stuff lidat after graduation. I hope it does, gaining experience from being ur own boss and learning the tricks of the trade from my dad wld be really quite interesting. But it needs lotsa discipline.

Need more punch/substance/logic in my entires. Well, I did pretty alright for the exams, amen. I hope I can do even better next sem and secure at least a 2nd upper/low honours.

The more I watch this video, the more I'm convinced that JYP is gay.

Can I just gush over Lee Jun Ki? He's so adorable!

I dunno why, this is the first time I find a single eye lid guy so attractive? My eyes are small, so I tend to prefer guys with double eye lids. But I guess a playful and cheerful person like Jun Ki has moved my heart. So I guess his personality has won me over. To me, Jun Ki is someone who always challenges himself to take on new difficult to portray characters and immerse himself into that character and effortlessly make the character alive. His dedication and talent in acting is definitely one of the reasons why he rose to fame overnight after acting in "The King & the clown".

I think he is really suave in his role in the "Time between dog and wolf" and i really love his forever changing hairstyles he dons inside the drama. He changes hairstyles when he goes through a different transition of his life. I lurve it, more reason to see junki in different hairstyles but i hate the last hairstyle, so flat. I prefer the spiky hairdo. I think junki looks SOOOOOO much better with short spiky hair, makes him more man than his "My Girl" periods in which he really looks like a girl. Junki, SHORT Hair suits you, and makes you more manly!

These words let slipped by BoA, who has been active as a front runner in the entertainment scene, were both shocking and surprising to the people around her.

‘It was probably after the release of my compilation album (Best Of Soul), that I began to lose my aim in life. I guess in a way, it was having to work constantly with no breather in between each moment, that made me feel that way. From time to time, I will think back and reflect, whether I am being too contented with what I have now. Honestly, I always wonder what will happen to me if I were to give up singing one day, but because singing has been my life, the thought of it is enough to just jolt me back to my senses that I need to go on with singing. But I guess it is the fact that I hadn’t have a break for so long that it is making me burnt out.’

As BoA told us these, she secretly threw a glance to her colleagues (manager etc) at the side and gave them a small but bitter smile. Indeed, throughout these 7 years, she has been shuffling back and forth between Japan and Korea without rest in her schedules and has used up 4 passports in the midst of her travelling. Perhaps it’s because she is so busy, that she cannot seem to find the motivation to drive her anymore. However, BoA has not lost her dreams all these while. It’s a dream made she was 15 years old — That she wants go abroad to America to study 10 years later, when she is 25 years old.

‘There’s still 4 more years to when I am 25 years old. Maybe I will really go abroad to study then. I want to study English and also take up ballet, these are what I feel are important and essential to me. Besides, I can still do recordings even when I am studying.’

Being an avid and inquisitive learner, BoA has mentioned during her teens years, that she would want to study Economics.”

I really feel for BoA, that she doesn't enjoy what she has been doing since the age of 13 with her debut album ID: Peace B. Back then, I didn't really like BoA, tot she was some teeny popper who will fade into the background of the music scene as time passes. Well, after 7 years later, she is still relevant and active in both South Korean and Japanese music scenes, which is really impressive feat. I have my respects for her, as she has proven herself to be more than a teeny popper, but also as a fantastic, charimastic performer. If you have heard and watch her LIVE, you would know she is good at what she has been doing so far. Singing and performing.

It seems like her contract wouldn't end until she reaches 25, and nobody would like to see her in the burnt out state. SM really milks her dry with the endless schedule that she has..shuttling to and fro South Korea and Japan. I think it's sad, when the company doesn't realise or dun wan to recognise that she is tired. I believe this saying is true "Xiu xi shi wei le yao zou geng chang de lu". I hope her company will be more understanding about her emotional and mental well being. A satisfied worker is a happy worker.

I think its ironic that this successful girl isn't satisfied and happy with her own life. But it happens to many people who are rich, successful and depressed. To own the whole world, and yet lose your soul, is indeed a sad thing. BoA, jiayou! I'm definitely rooting for her!

The Wonder~ Girls~ are back!

I'm not jesting, there is a new sensational korean girl band named Wonder Girls (Wonder~ Girls~, this is how you pronounce, wavily). They are taking the entire nation (Korea lah, u think SG meh) by storm with their ultra catchy, super cute song titled "Tell me". It is an epidemic back in Korea, almost everybody knows how to dance the Tell Me dance. Watch it before you shrug your shoulders and think to urself..yet another girl band. What is awesome about Wonder Girls is that the youngest members in the group are only 15 years old while the oldest members is only 19 years old.

Managed by JYP entertainments ( here's the man himself-he looks like a gorilla to me and is a weird but fantastic singer-dancer-producer all in one), the girls were selected after a series of auditions. After one fatal car accident that involved their van (all the girls, manager and stylist) and a taxi (taxi driver died, 9 people were injuried, all of them were hopsitalised), one member being replaced as she wanted out of the group due to health concerns, the Wonder Girls are still pimping the music scene since their debut in this year's February. With JYP, you can always expect creative marketing strategy to sell the girls, erhm and their music successfully. As the girls are still underaged, it would be a problem if JYP tried to dress them up as hookers, while they pole dance, Korea will be in a rage. So what did JYP do? He gave them the 80s retro look (which looks good on the lead singer) and taught them how to dance sexily in short skirts/pants. Their sound is infused with tonnes of catchy eurobeat rhythm, which I must say, is actually pretty pleasant to the ears and their MV is CUTE. REALLY.

The Wonder Girls are touted to be JYP's (Jin Yoong Park) favourite, after Rain decided to leave JYP to form his own Rainy Entertainments and tried to make it big on his own in USA, which he failed miserably. They are so popular that a recent internet auction for a single dinner date with the Wonder Girls revealed that the top 5 bidders were willing to spend approximately $3500 - $ 5500 (USD). I bet only horny, desperate, perverted uncles are willing/able to spend/fork that amount of money to satiate their lolita tendencies and try to get intimate with the young under-aged girls (I guess when gorilla JYP is not around).

Can you tell which one is Jang Yoo Joon from new boyband I the Tri Tops (ITT) and Young Woong Jae Joong from DBSK? I can’t, but according sources, the one on the left is newbie Jang Yoo Joon and right Hero Jae Joong.

It’s disturbing to see how identical these two pretty boys are, but the scarier part is how hard core Cassiopeias (DBSK fans) reacted to Jang Yoo Joon’s resemblance to their Hero Jae Joon. Similar to their close cousin, the Elves (Super Junior fans), Cassiopeias took the matter in their own hands and started to bombard Jang Yoo Joon’s cyworld minihompy with threatening messages when they first saw him perform on KBS2 Music bank two weeks ago. The Cassiopeias did a great job to scaring the living hell out of this 19 year old vocalist with messages like

This is another post about korean artistes with striking resemblance... My guess is Jang asked his plastic surgeon to make him look like Hero from DBSK. It's crazy, but if God made them look-a-like, I have no say, but Korea is D-land of plastics fanatics, so I dun see why my assumption is wrong.

Given that the korean fans are a lunatic bunch who would do anything for their idols,

- the crazy 500 fans who waited outside the military camp to see ex H.O.T. member, Moon Hee Jun being released after 2 years of military service,

Jang is probably having a hard time, facing his new groups of antis (probably zealous DBSK fans). The whole DBSK group especially U Know & Hero should just speak up and tell their fans to shuddup, and stop making a ruckus out of it - of cos, in a loving manner from Japan.

Exams are finally over!! phew, managed to mug like a bookworm and i gave my best to study and understand as much as i cld over the past 2 weeks. I'm really quite worn out ( I can see my own dark eye circles) and I had been slp deprived during the last leg of the exams as I had 3 papers in one week. Nearly threw a temper one day before HRM due to lack of slp and other circumstances.

Slp deprived = Grouchy, Irritable

Anyway, It's time to focus on FYP but I'm like, too lazy to bother about it and I dun even want to start doing anything. But I have to. IF not I wldn't be graded well for the interim report. HAIZ. SIAN.

Yesterday I got locked out of my own house after coming back home from town. Gosh, my parents changed the lock pad and didn't give me the new keys. So when I went home yst, I was locked out of the house and my maid was locked inside the house. Goodness gracious me. I thought I was going to die, cos i wanted to eat my dinner and i wanted to bath and use the toilet!
Win oredi loh. I called my dad, his hp was switched off. I kept calling but it kept failing to engage to my dad's hp. So I gave up, meanwhile, my maid (God bless her) cooked me noodles and passed the bowl of noodles to me through the holes of the window grill (ya, it is locked too). Thank goodness for that meal, was really grateful to her for that.

But can you imagine that scenario of me sitting on a plastic chair eating noodles on a table along my unit's corridor. It was really embarrassing for me, cos the elevator was really near me, anybody inside the elevator could peek out and see me. I waited for like 2 hours for my parents to come back, all these while, my dad's hp was switched off and my mum was never IT savvy to begin with. Went around my neighbourhood for a walk, bought some sweets then went back, read a book and smsed and talked on the phone until my mum finally came back.

Man, this hasn't happened to me since secondary sch. haha. Argh..i'm going broke from all that shopping for xmas.

kim hee sun and look alike

DANG! Who's that? I dunno. Just some random korean model I saw on the Internet while online-shopping. But there were some photo shoots of her that made me jumped. She looks like Kim Hee Sun (Jing Xi Shan, the korean actress who acted in the Myth as Chang Er with Jackie Chan) Dun believe, look @ the pictures of Kim Hee Sun (left) and model (right) side by side. haha.

Don't you think they look alike? I think they do, especially the nose bridge (it's tall!) and that no-teeth-is-revealed SMILE =) The very slight difference would be that Kim Hee Sun's eyes are larger and rounder, whereas the model's eyes are narrower and longer and Kim Hee Sun's face shape is more oval and she has a roundish chin whereas the model's face shape is smaller and has a sharper chin .. I wonder if the model asked her plastic surgeon to make her look like Kim Hee Sun..

Speaking of Kim Hee Sun (30), she recently got married to a successful south korean businessman Park Ju Yong (33) on 19th October 2007. Well, lucky chap, getting married to one of the most popular and gorgeous korean actress in the SEA region. IMHO, I think they locok quite compatible together and her husband is quite good looking. Congratulations to their blissful union!

Here's a new music commercial for Samsung. Big shot korean stars like DBSK's Xiah Junsu, BoA, Epik High's Tablo and pianist Jin Bora were hired to perform as a pop group for the commerical, Anyband. I prefer the first song than the second song. Both songs were composed by Tablo, who happens to be a talented composer and rapper and singer. He looks really NEET though. Heh, enjoy, this commercial rocks my socks!

Haruka, Kana, Chiaki (Left to Right)

Minami-Ke is a new and nice comdey. Basically it revolves around the lives of 3 sisters by the surname of MINAMI. It's really hilarious and i love the drawings of the 3 characters especially Chiaki who happens to love carbonated milk and scores extremely well for her grades (the youngest but the rudest of them all).

Kana is the middle child, who looks like a girl, but behaves like a nut case, bad at cooking cos she often concoct weird recipes. She often misinterprets a boy's declaration of love to declaration of war with the "mis"guidance of Chiaki who probably reads too much in between the lines.

Haruka is the motherly and responsible eldest sister who is extremely good at cooking and volleyball. She tends to avoid or ignore embarrassing situations. There was this scene whereby the younger sisters saw a scene of a drama whereby the teacher kissed a student. The girls kept pestering Haruka "Why is the teacher kissing a student?" and Haruka was dumbfounded, perphaps too shy to even mention the word kiss in front of her younger sisters.

I love the way the characters are drawn and it is a easy to watch comedy that makes me want to watch even more episodes so I can laugh my way thru. It's nowhere as dramatic as Seto no Hanayome, but it just captures my attention with all the witty and subtle jokes. It's really cute, it's not stupid or retarded, it's just pleasantly amusing and funny. Watch it using youtube or crunchyroll! Dun u dare try to d/l via bittorent. See, I warned you.

It's definitely been a while since the odex lawsuits uproar. anime-crazed fans discussing and objecting violently abt the underhanded methods of ODEX trying to identify the illegal downloaders of fan-subbed anime series. Friends around me cursed and sweared and prayed hard not to get caught. Even fansubbers uploading their bitorrent anime files onto tokyo toshokan commented: Singaporeans pls do not d/l! It was really upsetting, but i bet many people didn't care.

Anyway, I survived and escaped without having to fork out a single cent for my "illegal" means of obtaining fansubbed animes. PHEW.

IT's bloody funny, and this game is called "Dangyunhaji" the korean equivalent of "Of Course", where the korean celebrities have to suan each other until one party has used up all his/her wits to rebut. Sometimes, celebrities express their liking for another party, making it really awkward for the other party, but really really interesting to watch.

HELLO!

Hmm..have been so freaking busy that I failed to update my blog regularly. I'm sorry for the lack of updates..but ya..I will pop by every once a week to write something.

Well, I must thank Wei Ling for sending me these two pictures that I took with the girls from RSPID at Aranda Country Club for our RSPID FOC. Nah, I'm too old to participate in FOC games and screaming, and too tired to do anything exciting except talking and eating. So I did what I do best, entertained myself and other seniors and kept my stomach filled with BBQ prawns, chicken wing, bee hoon, hot dogs and mashmallows! Hmm, simple fanfare but I enjoyed the company. Thanks guys, I really miss you guys, cos I've not been going down to CCA lately bcos of quizzes, projects and fyp. Sorry dearies.. I wish I could come down more regularly, PLS forgive me, BUT DUN FORGET ME! I heart you all (esp shiyin, shuching, lucinda)! HAHA.. I just moved into my new hall! Hall 3!! Very happy to get my hall at this time before exams and this hall is just fantastic. New, Clean, and there's the ELEVATOR! I haven't seen my roomie yet, but I have the feeling that she is a very girly, dressy and nice girl. Her side of the room is totally pink, with lotsa plush soft toys, sshh.. I think she has like 10 over hairbands of different designs and colours in her dresser. HURR. My side of the room looks so plain and unglam beside her pinkish side. But I DUN CARE. I'm not the girly type of girl anyways, so heck care lah. At least, I'm quite tidy.

I couldn't slp in hall in the very first night that I moved in, and I felt so lonely, bcos I wasn't used to not hearing all the noises created by my parents at home, fussing over me and my pimpled face.

then she says "But it's very good for your pimples! Do lah!"

Okie, I digressed. But I wasn't used to the environment, and not used to NOT having anybody in the room with me. I slpt damn late and ended up tossing and turning in bed for like 1 hour before dozing off. I was damn tired that day and couldn't concentrate properly in lectures cos I wanted to slp the WHOLE day. Anyways, I forced myself to be awake for the whole night studying for quizzes before I concussed like a pig the second night. Great way to get used to slping in a new environment. I had a dream yesterday. I guess it's the subconscious brain at work, internalizing my own fear of being rejected by a crush. It's the second time I'm having this kind of dream. Dun like the aftermath of rejection. I guess nobody does. Haha.

Ok, it's time to go and study! I'm still guilty of online shopping lately. I hope I will stop shopping online soon. I must SAVE up for a rainy day!!! Must go on a Shopping FAST!

It's a fantastic love action thriller and I only have raves about it.

My heart stumped so many times bcos Lee Jun Ki's character had so many near deaths incidents in the show. Watch the video to know more. As the story unfolds, you will realise how good the plot is and be able to appreciate Lee Jun Ki, Nam Sang Mi and Jung Kyung Ho's characters and acting abilities. This is one of the best dramas in which the plot is good, the characters inside are all very well portrayed, just like Takuya Kimura's PRIDE.

Anyway, it's a refreshing change to see Lee Jun Ki shed his pretty boy (bishounen) image for a more masculine and manly image in Time between Dog & Wolf. Hee!

Wow, Jolin's latest album - Agent J is pretty groovy to listen to. Didn't expect her to be decked in shiny black leather suit with ultra-rebonded hair to fit the image of Agent J. IHMO, this is a fantastic marketing strategy to get people to buy her album, COS, she shot a 3 part music movie that's around 1 hour plus starring Kim Jae Won (flew to France), Stephen Fung (went to London) and Carl Ng (also went to Bangkok) just to promote her album Agent J. Sound damn interesting. I want to see the movie MV!! Who bought her authentic album?

Hello~

It's been really crazy these few days.

Feeling kinda sian,relieved, tired from everything.

FYP is really very trying for me. Prof asked me to come up with a totally new way of testing for adhesion of the powder coating. I have done so much literature review and there's more to be done. The company that is sponsoring my project, just keeps putting aeroplane on me. For the fourth time, I've been told not to go down to the company on the very day of the appointment that i was scheduled to go down. Dunno why lah. I feel pissed as if i'm unimportant and i planned everything nicely so that i can go down, only to be told not to go down.

I finally got a hall via eht kcabrood. Heh Heh. Dun tell you what it means. But finally, lesser time wasted on travelling. I really miss hall life....yeah....hope my roomie is easy to get along with. Hope i can slp well during my first few days in hall, gonna bring ear plugs in. I realise I have become very sensitive to noise and light, during my last sem's stay in hall. Cldn't really slp very well if there's noise and light in the room. Suddenly bcame a lightsleeper after I moved houses. I guess I became more accustomed to slping in a quiet environment when in the past, I can slp so soundly thru thunderstorms.

Haven't been very disciplined when it comes to studies. I'm very distracted at home by the computer and the internet. I'm always watching animes or lee jun ki's latest drama: Time between Dog and Wolf. I can't really study in front of the computer like last time anymore. I need to be disciplined and stop viewing online shopping blogs. If not I will overspend. Terrible me. Money is hard to earn and so easy to spend. HAIZ. I wish it was the reverse. Live in abudance. I must start going to the library at marine parade to study during weekends and recess week. I must!

Ciaos for now. Time to slp. This sem is really shitty for me. I hope I can do really well for this sem, at least all Bs again pls. I feel bullish shitty now. ROARS. goodnight!

I am addicted to online shopping.
Blah. Blah. Blah.
It takes up alot of my time just to browse through the items offered,
but I feel damn happy after I make up my mind to buy something.
Say hello to retail therapy at the comfort in my own home!

Well, I've had some bad experiences with e-bay/yahoo online auction accounts,

whereby the clothes dun even look the same as the ones shown in the pictures.

I have stuff that I never touch cos I just couldn't fit in or the material looks yucky.

I told myself I will never touch online e-baying stuff anymore.

Yah, sometimes their S/M sizes are actually XS.

The danger of online shopping (for clothes) is that you don't get to try or touch the real stuff, and you buy the wrong stuff that actually doesn't suit you, although it suits the models perfectly. But pros of online shopping is that, you dun need to doll urself up, travel to the shopping centres and spend time shopping. It's fast and efficient at the click of a button.

I will never buy bottoms/skirts online, bcos i'm convinced that I need to try bottoms/skirts to make sure nothing goes wrong, cos my legs are longer and my body is shorter.
So I guess I'm somewhat inproportional.

I can't wait for their latest offerings from Korea, cos i know Aidma and t.Her are going to be sold! A little expensive but still reasonable. Prices range from SGD 19.90 to SGD 35 for tops and dresses. The owners of the blog reply to my emails very promptly and they were very polite. 4/5 stars for good service, I highly recommend them as they really take the effort to keep track of their inventory and are very nice people.

This is a must-see website that offers wholesale or imports of the korean brands. There are many coordinations of how to wear different style of clothes and it's really very very gorgeous. This website is based in Korea, so the currency is in USD, conversion rate is 1.5, a tad too expensive for the miserable poor student. AND you need to spend up to a minmum amount of 500 USD, before they process your order for shipment. CORDY is doing a spree on www.zipia.net, ladies or guys who are interested, please go and see, cos the clothes are really really very nice. If you are interested in getting anything from zipia, pls dun hesitate to tell me or cordy!

Well, I've always gone to shoplah to see the clothes but never really dared to buy anything from them, until recently. They have a WIDE variety of CLOTHES at VERY AFFORDABLE prices. They have good schemes for memberships like discount of 10% for 3 and more tops, free postage fee if you post their blog link on your website. (For someone so GIAN PENG like me,when it comes to SALE, heh heh, i wld make a dash for it) Oh, and they are a registered company, so you can probably trust them.

I've read about some reviews from www.yebber.com that SHOPLAH's customer service isn't that good, as they take their own sweet time to reply to your orders or enquiries, and they dun bother to check their inventory until money's been transferred over to their bank account, which means you made a wasted effort in transferring the money only to find out that they ran out of stock. Inefficient and the reviewer said they didn't even bother to apologise for their inefficiency and was rather curt. If you dun mind waiting for their slow replies, you can try buying from this site. Better cross your fingers and pray and hope nothing is out of stock.

The clothes are very nice, but quite expensive, considering the fact that majority of their clothes are from taiwanese big names like V.Jeni, MAZ, Cutie, Cat World etc. If somebody did a spree from these taiwanese big names, after a quick conversion from TWD to SGD, you will realise the clothes are actually damn cheap, below 20 bucks. Well, it's for the sake of earning profits, that they increase the price. If you're willing to spend and simply love the cutesy, adorable look, go view this website. Sometimes I get toothache from seeing too much of these sweet, cute models.

The pricing is very very very affordable. I highly recommend this site if you're looking for cheap and cute clothes. They also offer pre-order items and I like this blog cos they offer belts, which most blogs dun offer, and at very reasonable prices. Their prices are way below $10. This blog is new, so they are not charging any handling fee for their first spree and there's free postage fee for 3 or more items and they do mass meet ups too. So basically, you just need to pay for the item in SGD (after conversion from TWD) + Shipping Fee + Postage fee. Hi guys,

I've been really busy these few weeks, trying to catch up with my studies and managing 2 projects at the same time. I wld say this is one of the most info and time intensive sem ever, even worse than year 3. I'm really stretched and I can see the stress building up as more pimples start to appear on my face. Thank God I'm going to see the doctor soon, and I have no acne-woe days in months/years to come.

Well, I dun really have much to blog lately, and I'm certainly not in the right frame of mind to say funny, stupid jokes. One of my friends is getting married, and I was super shocked when I heard of the news, cos he's just 24 years old, a young chap who is working with SAF. It is a shot-gun marriage, his beautiful girlfriend (my age) of a few months is pregnant with his child.

Seriously, I have no right to comment abt his marriage, and I wish them happiness. Ya lah, it's the twentith century, why still so uptight abt stuff lidat?

I just thought that if I were to put myself in his girlfriend's shoes, I'll probably just cry and pull my hair out, bcos I dun wan to be a mother when I'm not emotionally or financially ready to start a family. I still remember telling my prof a few weeks ago that I dun see myself staying at home and becoming a housewife, spanking backsides and screaming at the little demons at home in the near future. I wld rather be a workaholic than be a stay-at-home parent. It's really scary to know that a woman loses the calcium in her bones to her babies, and become very vulnerable to osteoporosis from her thirties onwards.

I'll be torn apart between abortion and marriage or being a single parent. I'll definitely not head for abortion, bcos it means that I'm killing my own child and I dun wan to be bound by the guilt and regret in time to come. Marriage will definitely be the best option for the time being, but what would my relatives say about me? I think my reputation will go down the drain and I'll become the black sheep of my family, while others whisper behind my back and I live in shame for the rest of my life. What if the man I'm married to, no longer behaves the same way as he used to treat me before marriage and suddenly we can no longer find any common ground to substain the marriage? I think being a single parent isn't easy either. Without the help of my husband's salary/savings, I'll have to work my ass off to make ends meet. I wldn't be there for my kid who will be taken care by my parents or foster care, as I'm working. What if my kid turns rebellious and grows up to hate me for not giving him/her enough attention and for not giving him a dad?

Alright, I'm just entertaining some very negative thoughts down here, and I shldn't be so paranoid esp when I'm not the one who is in this situation. I just think that we are responsbile for our own actions, and sometimes people get so caught up in the moment, that they ignore the severe repercussions of their own actions.

Even for my guy friend, I feel that he is not ready to be a father and I dun think he is financially abled to raise a kid and a wife, when he doesn't bother to bring $ back home to his parents. He may feel very pressured and restrained by his wife and family members to be a dad when all his peers around him are all so carefree and enjoying life, doing wadever they want to, without having any second thoughts. Well, looking on the bright side of it, marrying and giving birth at a younger age means you can enjoy life much faster when your kids grow up and they cldn't be bothered with you lavishing attention on them.

My train of thought is really jumbled up right now. But I really despise men who refuse to be responsible for their own actions, and ask their pregnant girlfriends to abort their own child, just so that the child wldn't change their lives 360 degrees and make things difficult for themselves. If these guys didn't want to be responsible, then in the first place, they shld have used protective measures. I wld refrain from making sweeping statements about the opposite gender but it doesn't mean I advocate pre-martial sex. Just stating my opinions and feelings for my own reflections.

I was just minding my own business looking at music pvs on youtube, when I came across this prevention suicide campaign video. I was pretty shocked to know that the Japanese Government has to plead with its citizens NOT to commit suicide through the media. It goes to show how dreadful life has been for the Japanese people, that they choose to commit suicide.

I remembered watching Hard Gay commenting that Mount Fuji has now become a favourite hotspot for people who want to end their lives, and there was this sign at Mount Fuji that wrote to the public not to commit suicide and to cherish their lives and think about how their actions will affect their friends and loved ones.

Izzit the harsh education sch system that is driving the students nuts? Or izzit the sch bullies whom even the teachers in school can't even lay a cane on, driving masses to their graves before alzhemier strikes them at old age? Or izzit bcos the bosses in Japan are all slave drivers that majority of the workforce in Japan have to do OT very frequently? Perphaps insanity was just a few steps ahead of them, and they just lost it at that very moment.

Suicide is not the right way to solve your problems, it is just another foolish way of running away from your problems. Who knows what will happen to you in the netherworld after you commit suicide? Probably, your soul will run into more problems, problems you never anticipated before. The BIG Unknown.

ARGH, sch work is pilling up. I can hardly breathe.

I dun even have time to watch anime, drama except on weekends.

All that time is spent on travelling,
