welcome

It keeps coming back to me
I remember this pain
It spreads across my eyes
Everything is dull

Everyone's smiling, they're smiling
It pushes me far far away
I can't understand
Everything is blue

Can you hear me out there?

Will you hold me now Hold me now My frozen heart
I'm gazing from the distance and
I feel everything pass through me
I can't be alone right now
Will you hold me now Hold me now My frozen heart
I'm lost in a deep winter sleep
I can't seem to find my way out alone
Can you wake me

I know when I let it in
It hides love from this moment
So I guard it close
I watch the moves it makes

But it gets me, but it gets me
I wish I could understand how I
Could make it disappear, make it disappear

Anyone out there hear me now?

Will you hold me now Hold me now My frozen heart
Kiss my lips
and maybe you can take me to your world for now
I can't be alone right now
Will you hold me now Hold me now My frozen heart
Please make it all go away
Am I ever gonna feel myself again?
I hope I will

Namie and Vidal Sassoon
Sunday, March 30, 2008 ( 1:38 AM )

Namie Amuro's hair looks GREAT!
If only Vidal Sassoon can make mine look fantastic, I would buy tonnes of them and make sure my hair is damn nice can? But, heck lah...these are just advertisements, her hair stylist must have gone through many many many brainstorming sessions to get her this nice effect....

Vidal Sassoon CM 60s (I have always wanted that doll look, Bangs, but it doesn't suit my face and my hair is naturally curly.....SIAN)

Vidal Sassoon CM 70s (My fav song and favouritest blue satin outfit)

Vidal Sassoon CM 80s (HER CURLS OMG! The RED top is damn nice)

yikes.
2 weeks to exams and 1 month plus to job seeking.

i'll leave that thought to tomorrow. or the day after.

I was browsing through some girls forum.....and came across this topic

"Ever had thoughts about kissing another girl?"

SOUNDS so interesting...i tot this was amusing

nope, never, but when I was at school (I was at an all girls school), some of the girls went through a sorta bisexual phase - which is apparently quite common in your teenage years when you're trying to find your own identity. at my school there was kissing with tongues and random stuff like licking each others eyeballs, don't ask me why.

WHAT!! LICK EYEBALLS!!!!! HURR HURR!!!
How scary can tt be! Imagine you going blind cos of some bacteria from ur kissing partner's tongue!!!

I had 2 girls make a pass at me in High School, And i did not like it at all!

I have friends that are gay tell me that i am missing out on something wonderful, And that another girl can give you this wonderful feelings that no guy can give you, Only another girl can.
And they tell me that i may like it and i hiding my true feelings and hiding secret crush for another girl

And be afraid that i will start to question my own sexuality and have fantasies for other girls

Not once in my life i never wanted to kiss another girl
SEI BEH funny! side track, If i kiss my mom, does that make me lesbian???????
As if ah..
did a peck on the lips on some girls when I was drunk a while ago ~_~
But it's approved by some friends of mine that girls are better kissers than boys (:
This comment got me thinking...REALLY?
To be honest, I have never entertained that thought until now....and even after doing so, that thought did not appeal to me and honestly, i wouldn't want to kiss any of my girlfriends....

The day if I ever kiss a girl, would be when I turn lesbian and become totally jaded by all the failed bgrs and scumbags whom I have met..

I've been brought up to think that Adam and Eve should be together, and not Adam and Steve or Agnes and Eve. All the objects of my affections were male or some androgynous looking celebrities like Lee Jun Ki, Kim Hee Chul, Miyavi etc etc etc..

Also, I wonder why majority of the people out there are more tolerant of lesbians than gays.....OH, there are many girls who like to read yaoi mangas.....I don't happen to be one of them......and have never read any before.....although I like to oogle at bishounens in anime, I think I will freak out big time if I catch two bishouens making out with each other in real life or in animes! Nippon is really perverted..

OHHHHHHHHH.....
I found the original Singer,
Jamiroquai's version of the Space Cowboy on youtube.
It's damn nice...and in a different style from Ryohei's..
Enjoyable throughout most of the video except for
the occasional irritating graphics..

Lyrics

Everything is good
And brown
On I'm here again
With a sunshine smile upon my face
My friends
Are close at hand
And all my inhibitions
Have disappeared without a trace
I'm glad
I found
Somebody who I can rely on.

This is the return
Of the space cowboy
Inter-planetary
Good vibe zone
At the speed of Cheeba
You and I go deeper
Maybe I'll have to got to get high
Just to get by.

Everything is good
And green
Oh, I'm red again
And I don't suppose I'm coming down
I can see clearly,
So high in the sky
A man with psychedelic picture frames
Of happiness to shade
His eyes
He's glad
That he's found
Somebody whom He can rely on.

Just in case, you were wondering who the heck is singing this song?
It's Ryohei. Japanese R&B singer.
He often sings along side with m-flo in collaborations and tours.

hee..
I shall be generous this time.
I'm letting you in on two of his albums which he remade the style of the original songs into his own bossa nova, R&B styles. His own rendition of these songs is pretty good though his voice is not the deep, manly type of voice like miyavi's. But still enjoyable, as the beat of the music and feel of the songs are pretty groovy.

ENJOY

Crystal Kay is mixed blood,.
Mom's third-generation Zainichi (person of Korean descent born in Japan),
Dad's Black American.

I like her!!

'Kirakuni Douzo' is phrase used to ask somebody who is sitting with his/her legs bent on the floor to be relaxed - which means to be comfortable and sit cross legged. Japanese like to sit on their legs on formal occasions and when they sit this way, people think they are well mannered.

I wish I could sit back and relax at this point of time.
I'm damn sian about fyp report....HAIZ....
Anyway, I feel slightly down cos somebody stole my favourite Charles & Keith Shoes.
I left it outside my hostel door on Saturday morning and it disappeared when I came back on Sunday NIGHT~!
It has been so well worn and has a unique cutting.
That bitch/shoe fetish freak should just stop taking what isn't theirs.
=( =( =( =(

Watch this. Highly Anticipated Comeback Video of Gummy. Korean R&B artiste.
Video features TOP of Big Bang and Sandara Park.
Big bang Fans either flip or grow green with envy bcos they kissed.

A man should never make a woman cry.
(some random thoughts)

I just realised the powers of a woman's tears.
It makes the people around the crying woman sympathize and comfort her.
Easier to get out of a difficult situation with tears too.

But a lady should never overuse the power of tears,
if not she will end up being labelled as a crybaby.

baby don't cry
( 12:33 AM )

Can you remember that?
I remember…

Waiting for the light I saw a blue t-shirt I remembered
A smile that hasn’t changed, even though it’s been 3 years
I was about to speak to you, but I noticed someone I didn’t know besides you
I turned away and the sky was the same color as always

People hide their memories in the passing seasons like this
Collecting the tears they cried, until they can shine in the sun

• So Baby, don’t be sad
Sometimes you can’t figure it out no matter how hard you try
Because if you just keep walking, there will be hope there
Even on rainy mornings (Baby don’t cry)
Even when love seems like it will disappear (Baby don’t cry)
I won’t leave you on your own (Baby don’t cry)
Baby don’t cry
Always stay by your side

On sleepless nights when you toss and turn
And you feel so alone, the sighs you heave are deep
Unable to shake off the uneasiness you feel
Work together, squeeze someone’s hand and find your invisible future
Because if you just keep doing that
You’ll have the strength to face the darkness
Don’t just chose between what you’re given
Take that first step with your own two feet

• repeat

There are some days (When I lose myself)
When the person I see in the mirror seems like a stranger (When I need someone’s help)
But don’t give up Let me see your smile
Hey, once things start to get better?
A day will come when you can laugh about this

That’s right, so Baby, reach out your hand
Believe in the sunlight peeking through the clouds
It’ll take away all your worries
So everything will be okay
Even on far away mornings (Baby don’t cry)
Even if you’ve lost your love (Baby don’t cry)
I won’t leave you on your own (Baby don’t cry)
Baby don’t cry
Always stay by your side

Baby no more don’t cry (baby don’ cry yeah)
It’s gon’ be alright (It’s gon’ be alright)
Baby no more don’t cry (baby don’ cry yeah)
You’ll see the sunshine (see the sunshine)
Baby how long’s it been (baby don’ baby don’t’ cry)
By yourself you’ve been tryin’ (By yourself you’ve been tryin’)
Baby no more don’t cry (baby don’ cry yeah)
You’ll see the sunshine (see the sunshine)

WOW.
Namie Amuro's newest single KICKS ASS.

60s, 70s, 80s.
3 songs in each different era, style and sound

LOVE the videos.
Fashionista, her HAIR, is so uber gorgerous!

Namie Amuro was the first female Japanese Artist whom I really really liked
during my secondary school days.
She was already an accomplished DIVA in her late teens in the 90s.
Then she got married and wasn't that big on the music scene.
After her divorce, she got back on her two own feet and made her comeback into the industry.

I must say, although she is the dethroned queen of jpop,
she still knows how to survive in the industry by changing her style and music.
I really like this 60s, 70s, 80s.
LOVELY!

NEW Look - 60s - I lurve SHOPPING!

时代从头发开始
is the best translation i can give you for the last japanese phrase in the video
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZaTEXgtrSDU

Rock Steady - 70s - I like the song!! Her hair!! Her clothes!!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=xHlkA486tDw

What a feeling - 80s
http://youtube.com/watch?v=F85XagJelkw

I noticed that namie amuro is much fairer in these videos as compared to her DARKer days.

Namie Amuro - Play - June 2007
Baby Don't Cry - January 2007

Alright, its not a fair gauge. But still she looks somewat fairer lehz.

Found a short paragraph devoted to Namie Amuro's achievement written on January 30, 2007

Amuro Namie (29) is the first female artist to have a Top 10 hit on the Oricon singles chart every year for 13 consecutive years. With her latest single, "Baby Don't Cry", released January 24 and entering the chart this week at No.3, she has overtaken Koizumi Kyoko (40) and Kudo Shizuka (36). Two of the top idols of the 1980s and early 90s, they're well past their prime as singers and ended their 12-year runs on the chart back in the mid to late 90s. Amuro had the limelight to herself back in the 90s, starting with her first Top 10 hit "Taiyo no Season" in 1995. Tribes of young female stars copied her dark-skinned look and called themselves "Amuraa". She was the youngest ever winner of the Nihon Record Taisho award for 1997's "Don't Wanna Cry" and is still the female record holder for million-selling singles, with five. Her position as the Queen of J-Pop may have been usurped by the likes of Utada Hikaru, Hamasaki Ayumi and Koda Kumi, but even marriage, motherhood and divorce have failed to put an end to her career. She has developed a large fan base elsewhere in Asia, where she remains one of the most popular Japanese artists. (Among male artists, the record of 17 consecutive years of Top 10 hits is shared by B'z (1990-2006) and SMAP (1991-2007).

fyp eroded
( 5:48 PM )

I'm dying of boredom in lab, so I shall tell you something about some fyp related incidents.
You Should Never TRY This AT HOME!
I bought home this debonding solution to remove the hardened adhesive found on my substrates. I don't know why, the sales engineer didn't bother to give me the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for this chemical. HELL. I didn't know it was bloody acidic and corrosive.

I went home and decided that I have to remove the hardened adhesives so I can reuse the specimens. The minute I opened the lid, the lid popped out and the large drops of the chemical flew out together with it. Some landed on my forehead, some landed on my laptop and my table.
I was damn pissed, had this burning sensation on my forehead, luckily never fly into my eyes. Ran to wash it away. When I came back, some surfaces of the laptop and the table was gone.

Specimens....the debonding solution's container is at the back.

Table Casualties. Surface Finish Eroded.

Laptop Keys Eroded.

Was quite upset about it initially. But it's alright oredi. Laptop is still working, just some ugly looking keys. Ya, shouldn't have done it in my own room. Regrets. The acid stings my skin every now and then when it lands on my skin during fyp. SIAN. BACK to work. CIAOs.

he still doesn't care and doesn't give a damn.

I came across a female thai singer with almost the same name as me.
Lydia.
Downloaded her album and Mv.
Surprisingly, she's really good and looks pretty.
Does justice to our name. =p

Prodigal
=========================
We said goodbye
I turn my back
Run away, run away
So predictable
Not far from here
You see me crack
Like a bone, like a bone
I'm so breakable

And I take everything from you
But you'll take anything
Won't you?

Run away, run away
Like a prodigal
Don't you wait for me
Don't you wait for me
So ashamed, so ashamed
But I need you so
And you wait for me
And you wait for me

I'm on the road
To who knows where?
Look ahead, not behind
I keep saying
There's no place to go
Where you're not there
On your rope, I hold tight
But it's freeing

And I take everything from you
But you'll take anything
Won't you?

Run away, run away
Like a prodigal
Don't you wait for me
Don't you wait for me
So ashamed, so ashamed
But I need you so
And you wait for me
And you wait for me

Everybody wants to be right
But only if it's not day light?
I keep trying to find my way back
My way back

Run away, run away
Like a prodigal
Don't you wait for me
Don't you wait for me
So ashamed, so ashamed
But I need you so
And you wait for me
And you wait for me

Runaway
Runaway
Runaway
From you
From you
From you
=======================

Oh no. This entire album is SOOOOOO nice.
I keep playing it on repeat on my ipod.
Love it.
It's soooo soulful to me.
the lyrics are simple yet has so much depth to it.
Worth reminiscing the lyrics.
