JC Reunion

Haha...i attended the Jc class Reunion last saturday @ Melvin's house, and his mum cooked delicious food for US to eat...it was so nice!! It has been quite some time since we had a class gathering...this time round, it was to commerate wahyu's coming back to singapore for 2 days...We had a great time talking about our love life, the elections, and everything funny...it was so FUN...hahaha...Enjoyed myself thoroughly, and we wished wahyu (the guy in black whom u always see in front of the cake) bon voyage to Indonesia (his hometown)...This wahyu is a genius ok...always look blur blur 1...but he is very smart and frequently topped the class for most of the modules!! He's one lucky fellow, born in a wealthy family, got brains, and is currently in some US university persuing his honours....

Envious, wished i could go study overseas...life is so much less tensed over there...my jie mei, raymond was telling me that he can't bear to leave the states after studying there for 1 sem...too bad, i wasn't born with a silver spoon...if not i will have the best of everything...(i sound like i will become a spoiled brat)

This year's june holidays aren't really called holidays...bcos of the 5 weeks EID...holidays are no longer holidays...when u have to rush a prototype of the device the group is gonna design n produced (by outsource company) and the biz plan for the prototype...I tot i was over marketing module, but it came back to haunt me in another facade=EID

Nonetheless, we mus learn to enjoy ourselves before the-not-so-holidays end in a blinking of an eye!! oh, i was happily slacking on a lazy monday afternoon when mei ting told me over msn that qi xiang saw my name for the IA interview results for motorola!! I was whooping for joy and typing nonsense into the msn window. My folks @ home were cheering for me, cos if i got into some ulu company in jurong for IA, i will have to stay in hall...They were damn relieved tt i dun have to stay in hall...

Stayin in hall is good experience...it taught me to be independent, to learn to take care of myself, and i relished the tremendous amount of freedom i had when i stayed in hall..no need to be afraid of going out late and reaching home late...no interrogrations about where you went, who you went out with...female or male...how many males...see, i have protective folks...and i dun like tt...cos after living in hall, i dun have to be accountable to them for a while, and perhaps i was more self-absorbed and didn't think much of my folks...and tt caused a drift in my relationship with them, esp with my mum, whom i used to be able to communicate very well before uni days

Anyways, back to the holidays part, i had a ball of time catching up with my jc classmates last saturday night...Melvin's mum cooked so much delicious food tt i was telling her she should open a restaurant...good food, the jc pple had a great time catching up and melvin managed to grab hold of wahyu, our indonesian classmate who was stopping by singapore for 2 days, enroute to indonesian for his summer vacations...took lotsa of funny pics...will post it up ltr when i get the pics..


and enjoyed myself thoroughly when i went to Kbox with meiting, patrick, yi wei, hui ching, jojo and jonathan on tuesday...patrick surprised me by singing tank's song...so bloody high, he oso can reach and not to mention mei ting, woah, can sing hokkien song sia...jojo and hui ching have good voices, hui ching can imitate ah mei with her low and husky voice of hers...haha...i always kinda admire pple who can sing lower keys...cos i have a high-pitch voice...which dear dear describes as babyish..so its not very nice to listen to when i'm trying to sing to wong lee hom's lastest love ballads...haha...

Actually..i seriously think that kbox should do something about getting authentic english mtvs for the KTV sessions...the ang moh mtvs @ kbox are fake and u're singing and halfway, there is this stupid dog running across the screen and some ang moh woman parading in the streets...boring

Andrew was tellin me about the ktvs in JB, that their english mtvs are authentic and very up-to-date and so much cheaper, and the mic are clearer and the rooms are much cleaner than the ones in singapore...Step into a KTV lounge in JB, and you will nv want to go back to the ones in Singapore...

hahaha...think Kbox should improve its mics, provide authentic english mvs and improve on the programs that load and play the mvs...cos there were a couple of times when the mvs hanged halfway when we were singing...(and i bet, we ain't the only ones who experience such technical problem)...its terrible u noe...

FFXII's Kiss me goodbye's MV

I went to check out what were the lastest versions of FF, after FFX2...FFXI was not much of a PS game but rather it was more of an online gaming thingy....but there wasn't much talk on the characters and stuff...

FFXII is good stuff...i watched some of the trailers and the opening movie to the game on you tube and www.ffxii.net
Cool stuff, the characters look strangely non-asian at first glance...cos all of them have blond coloured hair...was kinda dissappointed that the characters looked more european than asian...and the main character, Vaan is only 17 years old...but the characters wear elaborate and exquisite clothings, gears and weapons...graphics quality is excellent...i'm itching to lay my hands on FFXII...and this is the first time, the main character's love interest dies in FFXII!

LoL..stumbled across this handsome picture of Cloud in FF7..got me thinking about the marvellous CGI movie clip, FF7 Advent Children...The movie clip is damn power...lotsa of action, and gravity defying stunts tt can nv be perfomed in the real world...ZAI!
Cloud is SO X10 Suave...he is a pretty boy, and got the "dun mess with me" look..and those funky spikes...aaahhh....so SUAI! too bad, he is just a CG character...nvm lah..my dear dear oso not bad lah....

I remembered that i was totally mesmerised by Squall in FF8 also...My love affair with FF8 started when i was in Sim Lim Square looking for some software (sec2, ltr on, i found out tt 2 of my gal friends played FF8)..and was walking along the corridors when i saw this illegal CD shop in Sim Lim Shop playing the movie clips from FF8 on the computer...i just stood there watching the clip without flinching and in awe of the technology tt made the characters looked so life-like...and i went into the shop and bought one FF8 compliation CD for myself...

FF8 starred Rinoa Heartily and Squall Leonheart as lovers and fighters who were trained in the art of magic and war...set on the mission to overthrow the stronghold of Witch Edea...FF8 was my first RPG tt i played on playstation...relishing the old memories...used to enjoy FF8 so much that i would spend lotsa time searching the internet for pics pertaining to FF8 and try to create my style of FF8 collages...but i lost those amatuer pics when my old computer crash..and was "destroyed" and replaced by a new hard disk with the help of an old friend...Oh, the best part was that i used to have a crush on this guy from my sec sch..and i tot he looked just as cool as squall...those were the days man...Oh and my primary school best friend gave me a FF8 jigsaw puzzle as a bdae gift with rinoa and squall...i was so touched...the jigsaw is still with me, but not hung up..i mus get my mum to dig the puzzle out from the store rooms and put it up in my room...I love the picture very much...

Then by the time when i was in JC, FFX came out, but i didn't really like the way Tidus look...cos he looks so young and i tot yuna didn't look really pretty like rinoa and tifa and i still think tt Rikku in FFX is chio-er...

BUT BUT BUT...the quality of FFX is damn fantastic...and i tot it was much better than the quality of FF8...everything was clearer and crystal clear and i got to play FFX when my ex bf lent me his PS2 but didn't manage to complete it bcos he was itching to get his precious PS2 back as he wanted to play other games...and i died halfway, cldn't get pass the BOSS @ the ltr stages...sians!BTW, who has FF7, FF8 or FFX or FFX-2's game discs? lend me lehz...dun so selfish lehz...

I really do want to play the FF series again, if given the chance...
